Remote control failure

i turned on my tv and it blinks green continuesly. it wont turn off to red light. i unpluged it for 30 min. repluged it and green light comes on and wont stop blinking

Use code search on your Auvio URC to find something that works. If a search through all codes stored in the URC fails, try a different one.

The most common point of failure in things like this are filter capacitors in the power supply.

What happens before it shutting off itself? Are you sure that the timer off isn't on? Normally, the self off may happen because the TV goes into Protection Mode due to a failed circuit board.

Try to unplug everything from the TV. Yes, wires and everything. Plug it back and turn back on. Also make sure that you are plugging it to the correct input and are fitted well.

Universal remote is no good for accessing menus and you need an original replacement or a compatible remote. I bought a compatible from Amazon or ebay for not much more than a universal.

Start by looking for bad capacitors in the power supply board.

For recording any program, some inbuilt memory is required. You have to check from the operation manual.
