What happens when you tried to plug-in SD card to the computer?
Have you made any recent changes to the computer prior to the issue?
To make the SDHC be recognized by the computer, we need to ensure that the card reader works in Windows 7 first. Please check if the card reader is recognized properly by the computer and you have installed the driver for it.
Meanwhile, you can plug some other storage cards to the card reader and see how it works.
I would suggest you to refer the link belowA Secure Digital (SD) card may not be recognized on a Windows 7 based computer.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/981642
Uninstall all the Generic USB drivers and reinstall.
1. Open Device Manager.2. In "Disk Drives" dropdown, uninstall the "Generic SD/MMC USB device" drive.3. Restart computer.4. Insert SDHC card.
Hope this helps.
