70 inch Element Roku tv , screen went black and no sound.
They are not a good product or a good company. The two of you should start a class action law suit against the company. Lawyers will take these on free of charge because they get first bit of the amount awarded. If the two of you have issues, there will be thousands more.

Element ELDFT406 shuts off by itself every 10-60 minutes
Ok, I am having the same issue. I just bought my tv - same model at the Target Black Friday sale. Can I ask, did yours make a low humming noise before you changed it out. I still am within my 30 day exchange policy, so I am thinking it would be wiser just to exchange it... but my concern is, would I get one with the same problem (or worse) in exchange?

Can't connect to Netflix with my Element smart TV
Where your Smart TV already has an app in its app pages, start that app, log onto your Netflix account (which you need to pay for) and watch away.
If your TV does not have a Netflix app, give Player a try at
http://www.Playora.com - this is an app that runs on a PC and lets you open content on the screen of the PC and toss it to a lot of different Smart TVs (Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Sony, JVC, etc.). Ithing, It will be helpful for you.

I lost the remote and cant find a universal that
you can go to menu options, than find programming options.
Look for an option called "autoprogram" and select it. It will search and set all available channels.
There is universal remotes for this tv that you can find by googling "elements electronics remotes":

Without its remote control, you can't do a system reset to this set.
Try a Hard Reset to this set, and then check.
There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.
If a hard reset do not help, you should buy its original remote control from its authorized service center.

The blue light is on the TV but the screen is
There aren't any buttons to push on the remote. There are 3 main boards in the TV: Power supply, main, and T-Con board. Do this test. With the TV on shine a flashlight on the screen and look for a faint picture. If you don't see one, then the T-Con board is bad. If you do see one then the backlight driver is not turning on the the white light for the screen. This driver can be on the power supply or the main board. It depends on the model. Since your TV is 10 years old you may want to get a new TV.

How can i fix my 40" Element tv?
it could be the t-con board going. or the screen connector ribbon is lose. or even just the connection cable to the t-con board. if you push gently around the edge of the screen if the pitcher gets better or worse then its the screen connections. sometimes can be fixed with cracking the cable or slightly heating the area and packing, but this is with the led screen panel out. but would think its more a t-con board filing.

I was watching my 37' LCD tv last night when I
Bad power board, it could be a regulator circuit in the board and you can troubleshoot it if your good at electronics as those switch mode power supplies can be a little tricky sometimes, it may make more sense to replace the board though, generally they aren't that expensive, under 50 bucks generally

My Element Electronics 46" LCD tv model ELDFW464 has sound but no picture.
Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.
