Perfect Steam dryer control panel occasionally flashes and will not start.

If its an electric dryer check your outlet and power cord for bad connection.

Electrolux dryer eied50liwo door keeps popping open during drying

The latch mechanism is not fulling grabbing and the door pops open. By bending either the door mechanism or the chassis mechanism so parts are tighter you can restore proper operation.

E75 default code on Electrolux gallery series dryer

I appreciate your inquiry, Ape!

From what you have described your Electrolux dryer is displaying an error code of "E75". An"E75" error code is not showing as a valid error code it could be a possible miscommunication with the control panel and I would recommend performing a reset on your dryer. You can do that by disconnecting the power from it for ten minutes. Could you please provide me with your model number? You can normally locate the model number on the serial tag which is located on the door frame. Also, once you reset it can you provide feedback if you continue to receive that error code. Good luck. -Matt

The LCD display screen is cloudy on one side so difficult to read part of display. Is there a way we can remove it and clean the glass?

I don't have your model number to look up but I'll try to answer. Most digital displays have 2 parts to the display cover. The actual display and sometimes a clear or green plastic cover to help protect the actual display. That type system can usually be removed and cleaned. Some of the newer systems have eliminated the extra cover, so if moisture is getting behind the display you can't clean it. If it is actually moisture, applying heat from a hair dryer may help get rid of some of it but be careful you don't get it too hot and melt the display.

Electrolux dryer will not start

Hi boltonjamese...

E63 error code means that your dryer thinks the temperature is too hot.

If your unit is still under warranty they should fix it under warranty so I would highly recommend calling warranty to correct this issue as any problem to fix this will involve replacing a sensor or a control board.

Please take time to rate me

Electrolux model FEQ332CES0 spins but there is no heat. Any suggestions on why and how to repair the problem myself, thanks.

ELECTRIC Dryer no heat or little heat, or shuts down to fast: Check your venting and lint basket. Check blower for lint build up and blower wheel obstruction., test by trying to turn the wheel manually by hand (should be easy) May have to remove cabinet or front/back plate to get to it) Next check the heating element itself with a meter for continuity OHMS CLOSED CIRCUIT. If not its defective or has a short if its grounding out? Which in turns causes blown fuses or thermostats or overheating. Check dryer Terminal block prongs both outside prongs should give combined 220, and 110 each if u check 1 outside & 1 center (ground) prong. Also check house electrical outlet for full voltage. 220 because if u only get half or 110 volts you will be able to run the machine which uses only 110 to run motor but not the heater which uses a full 220, Check the thermal cut off, the cycling and the hi limit thermostats. For continuity or OHMS. If no ohms or resistance they need replacement. Lastly check your moister sensor. ( located inside the dryer door usually) Especially if machine seems to shut down early and clothes are still wet. Test with a meter at room temperature and it should show continuity. A failed moisture sensor will affect the dryer run time in the automatic moisture sensing cycle but it will not affect the heating of the dryer or the timed cycle. Which are reflected by the thermostats.

There is power to the dryer, but when i hit start, the door doesnt lock and then start? What could be wrong?

That's a great question, friend! From what you have described your Electrolux dryer is not locking or starting when you hit the start button. It sounds like a potential issue with your door latch or main control panel. If your door latch is not sensing the door is closed and locked it will not start your washer cycle. Also, if your control panel is not registering the door is closed it will not lock and start the cycle. I suggest you reach out to a professional for proper repairs to be completed. If you do not have a professional contact you can visit your manufacturer's website for additional assistance. I hope this is helpful information to you. -Matt

I ran the perfect steam option on my Electrolux dryer and ran the program but now the water continues to spray inside the dryer. How do I shut it off?

Thank you for your post, Travis! I see that you are having a continuous spray of water inside of your Electrolux dryer from the Perfect Steam option. It appears that you could have an issue with your water valve or control panel. I would recommend performing a reset on your dryer and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If this does not correct your issue I would suggest having a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you avoid any future issues. Best of luck! -Matt

Thank you for your inquiry, friend! Based off the information you have provided the control panel does not power up on your Electrolux dryer. This could be a problem with your control panel or power cord. I would recommend performing a reset on your dryer and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct the issue your panel could possibly have a short within it or your power cord could be faulty and need to be replaced. I would suggest consulting with a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

Dryer is stuck on paused and won't spin. Turned off and re-started but the motor ran for a few seconds and then went to paused again.

Good Morning Jill, So I see that you were drying bath mats and the dryer got stuck in a "Pause" mode and even if you cancel and restart it shows "Pause" on the display. I would suggest resetting the dryer. What you will need to do is either unplug it or you can shut the power off at the circuit breaker. When you do this you will need to leave it off for at least 2-3 minutes. Cut the power back on, start any cycle. If you are still having trouble not being able to start the dryer and "Pause" showing, I suggest you either contact the manufacturer or your local authorized technician. I hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP
