Oven stopped working after self clean

Electrolux Double Oven EI30EW45JS1 After a self clean cycle the top oven stopped heating up. The keypad was operational, but there were no error codes. I determined this was due to the thermal switch being tripped. Unfortunately the oven has to be removed from the wall to get to the back where the switch is located. Here is what I did: 1) Remove any trim around the oven in prep for sliding it out (see installation instructions). 2) Slide it out with a friend, on to a hydraulic table cart (1 used a 500 lb capacity one) 3) unplug the oven and remove the back panel. 4) Either reset the thermal switch by pressing the red button, or replace it. I found mine located on the upper left (facing it from the front) 5) replace the back panel 6) plug the oven back in 7) slide it back in place 8) replace the trim The hardest part is getting the oven out, so I just replaced the switch and everything worked fine.

Dryer display blinks on ND OFF WHEN TURNING DIAL or pressing start and does not turn on

I appreciate your post, friend!

From the information you have provided your Electrolux dryer's displays blinks on and off when you turn the dial and it does not start. This sounds like a possible issue with your door latch or control panel. I would recommend for you to check the door strike and door latch to make sure there is no visible damage. If you do not see any damage this could be a wiring issue within your door latch or control panel. This is not a simple DIY job and I would suggest having a professional out to perform an accurate diagnosis. I hope this is helpful information. -Matt

Power Surge Electrolux double oven EI30EW45JS, now producing F11 code, installed new board, how to reset to see if problem is fixed?

Good Morning Jennifer Lynch, thanks for your post!
I see you have replaced the control board on your Electrolux wall oven and it is displaying an "F11" error code. "F11" stands for a shorted keypad, since you have replaced the board I would recommend resetting your wall oven. You can reset your wall oven by flipping the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. If you need further assistance please feel free to reconnect. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Hello friend, thank you for your post!

I understand that your Electrolux range burner buttons are remaining on. I have identified a few possibilities as faulty burner buttons, bad switches, or a disruption inside the control panel. Let's perform a reset on your range which can be done by flipping the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. If that does not help correct the issue I would suggest consulting with a professional for proper repair. Hopefully this helps. -Matt

Have a lux legacy c 153c made by aerus comes on and runs fine for maybe 90 sec then shuts off and in about 90 sec will come back on .has great suc and runs great while runing

Is the motor overheating? Or is it more like there's a loose connection in the on/off switch? What happens if you reel in the cord a little? Could be there is a spot somewhere in the rings which is corroded or worn out and not making contact. Might also be a break somewhere in the winding inside the motor. I have a similar situation in my Aerus C15C3. An Aerus brand bag ruptured inside my vacuum cleaner, but I didn't realize until the motor started making a horrible noise! To make matters worse, I hooked up my older Electrolux LE 1623 and at tried to suck as much debris out of the air intake at the bottom of the bag compartment, and then put the C15C3 back into service. I should have stopped then and there and started working on trying to get the motor and the fan out of the housing. But my machine was overheating and shutting off. Sears Parts Direct has diagrams of the Electrolux LE 1623 on their website. The good thing about Aerus and the old Electrolux-USA is that they all have similarities in their design, but Aerus does like to tweak their design just enough to foil or at least complicate access to DIYers and general vacuum repair shops. I hope you post what you find out!

Thank you for your post, Wendy Berg!

I understand that you are searching for a filler piece to go between your Electrolux range and countertop. I was unable to locate any type of filler piece I see the manufacture has a side trim kit, rear filler panel, and backguard kit but nothing specific to your request. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt

How do you access the motor and guts of an Aeruslux or Electrolux Canister Vacuum Cleaner

Hi, I can help. Flip the canister on it's back. Remove all crews. Should pull apart from there. If not check around body to see if it's clipped. You may have to pry the sides apart. That will give you access. Be careful and pay attention to where everything is. Good luck.

How to dissasemble

This is a general response but I have found most of them to be the same way. Take off all panels and access doors that you know come off. On the bottom or side of the unit you will see deep hole molded into the body. If you flash a light down you will see a screw head with a Phillips head or Torx bit. You will need a long screw driver with that bit on it or an extension that will fit. There will most likely be about 6 of those to remove.
