Battery could to going bad & not hold charge or the charger is going bad. Have the battery checked at auto zone. Someone with a meter reader can check the charger. They would be the 1st things to check. Could be the starter switch going bad. Wiring where you plug in the charger could have a short. A meter can also read these other things. Start at the simplest 1st. Good Luck.
we had a spoon fall into my mom's. turn it over and check that there is nothing stopping it from working the other think I would check is to make sure you did not blow the fuse or breaker that controls the wall plug.
Sounds like either the battery or charger is not working properly. If the machine has been sitting around for a long time without charging the battery then the battery may not hold a full charge, I would pull the batteries and have them checked out and see if they are charging up to snuff. Fully charge them before you get them tested. There should be no charge to check them.
