I have an eclipse AVN 5500 with a check map disc display after my battery died. What can be done?
It probably needs a map update. You can buy a disc update, but you'll have to contact support for your device. Try 1 (800)-233-2216 for support in the USA.

I have an Eclipse dvd/cd/avinavi
I have an Eclipse dvd/cd/avinavi UCNV884RE system in my car, I disconnect the battery and now need to re programed the system to have it working again.
I don't have the required software. Is there somewhere when I can download a copy, if not, what can i do?

P.S the car was imported from Jaoan and came with the system installed.

I have a eclipse 5342r car stereo and would like to add aux input using the CD changer input and a adapter cord, how do I get head unit to switch to CD changer? I believe I need to trick processor to change input but not sure how.
Not 100% sure but I believe you press the CD button multiple times, so you may see CD, CD2, CD3, etc.

When the eclipse was installed the owner registered a disk for security reasons..... when power is disconnected the only way to resolve it is put the registered disk in!

My eclipse avn 2205d lost memory and only shows insert disk and cannot switch off
try removing the battery wait a few seconds and replace it.It then should be off so try to turn it back on see if it reboots right
