Emachine T5062 desktop powers down when windows starts to load. Any suggestions as to what the problem might be?
it sounds like 1 of 2 things.
1. the machine is overheating. This usually happends if the machine is relatively old, open the cabinet side (usually the left one when facing the front) and see if there is a dust layer on the grill behind the vertical fan facing the open side. if there is, take a cue-tip and clean it. Gently.
2. its a software malfunction, reboot the machine and tap the f8 key untill a windows start menu appears, then select the repair option, run a startup repair from the following window and try to reboot again

How do get the web cam to work on my e525 with windows 7
Probably all it needs is the proper driver. You should have gotten several disks with the laptop containing OS, drivers, etc. If not, go to the Acer's site and download the proper drivers and install them. They will have installation instructions posted or for download. Unfortunately, I can't tell you who manufactured the webcam in your PC. Should be available on Acer's website.
I do find it odd that Win 7 doesn't have the drivers already installed tho. Most major webcams are covered, especially if you bought the laptop with Win 7 installed.
Can also try going to device manager and uninstalling the webcam, then reboot. Windows will reinstall the webcam. Try updating the driver from device manager also.
My computor emachine win.vista i cant get juno.com to stay on my computor after installing it
Does Juno dissapear right after install? Or does it dissapear after reboot?
If it dissapears right after install, its propably because the user you're using doesn't have the proper permissions to install system critical software. If this is the case a prompt should appear informing you that you don't have the permissions to install this type of software, and that you need proper permissions.
If its deleted after reboot, it could be because your malware/virus scanner has flagged it as hostile. or that its not a vista compatible program.
Try contacting juno support
http://help.juno.com/support/email-us.html
and describe the problem to them.

Restoring factory settings on my emachine W3506
I think you might have got a DVD with your machine.. Please put on that DVD and restart the machine.. and go to Bios and make change the setting to boot from the CD drive.. and it will get booted to the recovery dvd and simply follow the instructions from the DVD.. plz not that your data will get deleted once recovery is done..
