How do I unlock my camera and camcorder?
hi,
i think it is because of your SD card that is on "record protected" position...
just change it to non protected by moving the tiny lock on the left side it must be up, not down (that arrives sometime when inserting the SD card in the cam, if not really straight !
cheers

How to download to computer
You didn't specify the model of your DXG camera so I'm going to assume it uses a memory card of some type.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa (
http://picasa.google.com ).
Can't use macro and flash at same time
Correct. Most cameras will not let you use the flash in macro mode. There are several reasons for this. One is the distance. The flash is so close to the subject that the camera cannot properly adjust the amount of light. Perhaps more important, since the flash is off the optical axis of the lens, any illumination from the flash will be uneven. The part of the subject closest to the flash will get more light than the part farthest away.

SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
Download driver free
You don't need a driver.

Try turning the screen all the way around and close the screen so the screen its left outside where you can see if that doesn't work you will need to replace the ribon that connects the screen to camcorder.

Manual
It doesn't. The DXG-301V uses standard AA batteries, either disposable or rechargeable. If you choose to use rechargeable batteries, you must charge them outside the camera using a separate charger.
I CAN'T GET THE PICTURES OUT OF MY CAMERA
ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS AND VIDEOS TO A COMPUTER If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.
