How do i clean my
I just figured out how to take off the back of the DY-012. You know about the 2 screws on the top, in the 'handle' area. But there is a third screw on the bottom. It is hidden by a small button-sized piece of plastic used to cover the hole the screw is in. This piece of plastic has a pin-hole that you can stick a pin (haha) or a paper clip in, to pop it out. After the 3 screws are out, you pull the back away from the front starting from the bottom, and when you have loosened both sides of the back, you pull down to remove it from the top. You should also see a small **** at the top. Stick a very thin screwdriver or knife in it to help unclip the back from the top. Once you have access to the inside, you just have to figure out the order in which to remove screws to have access to the harder-to-get-to screws. I must say, the plastic cleans VERY easily! My fan was covered with nicotine which accumulated extra dust and dirt, and it now looks brand new!

Hi,
Check to see if the fan has a capacitor on the motor...
Often when you get a hum and no spin it is because of a bad cap.
Also check that the fan spins freely, it may need some oil...
If it does need oil, first work in some WD-40 and then some light small motor oil at each end of the motor...

Most dryers have a sensor in the exit/ vent area that will keep it from running if lint has built up on it. This is supposed to prevent a fire from occurring. You may want to check your vent hose and clean out any lint build up there. You also can check the sensors inside the unit. Unplug the dryer, remove the screws holding the back on the unit, and check at the bottom. Most sensors are thermal switches that are either oval or round and are screwed onto the metal at the venting area. These can be taken off and cleaned. If this doesn't fix the problem, then one of the sensors has stopped working and needs to be replaced. Most appliance repair places can check these for you.
Borrowed duracraft 2831 6 m
it was borrowed and not hired
it is at lenders liability and you are under no obligation to pay for it
It was faulty from the minute you plugged it in so he may be try to get a new one from you
if push comes to shove , ask for the original receipt for the item and if it is more than a few months old , then he has no legal claim for a new one
