Denon, dn-c550r recordable dual cd player, right side tray will not eject...

If the right side tray of your Denon DN-C550R recordable dual CD player is not ejecting, there may be a mechanical problem that is preventing the tray from opening. Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:
  1. Make sure that the CD player is turned off and unplugged from the power source.
  2. Check to see if there are any obstructions that may be preventing the tray from opening, such as a CD that is stuck in the tray or debris that has fallen into the CD player.
  3. If there are no visible obstructions, try gently tapping on the top of the CD player to see if this dislodges any mechanical parts that may be preventing the tray from opening.
  4. If tapping doesn't work, you can try opening the CD player and manually releasing the tray. To do this, you will need to remove the cover of the CD player and locate the manual release mechanism for the tray. This is usually a small lever or button that you can push or pull to manually release the tray.
  5. If none of these steps work, there may be a more serious mechanical issue with the CD player that requires professional repair.
It's great that you were able to fix the left side tray by replacing the band. However, if the right side tray is still not ejecting, there may be a different mechanical problem that needs to be addressed.

I would like to know how to finalise a disc on a DUAL - Model DVR-W5002 please

The DUAL DVR-W5002 is a dual layer DVD recorder, which means you can record data onto two layers of a DVD disc. To finalize a disc on this device, you'll need to follow these steps:
  1. Make sure the disc is loaded and ready for recording.
  2. Press the "Record" button to enter the recording menu.
  3. Select the option to "Finalize" the disc. This option is usually found under the "Disc" or "Setup" menu.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize the disc. This process may take a few minutes to complete.
  5. Once the finalization process is complete, the disc should be readable on other DVD players.
Note: Finalizing a disc makes it readable on other DVD players, but it also makes it permanent and prevents further recording on the disc. Before finalizing a disc, make sure that you have recorded all the necessary data and that you won't need to add any more files to the disc in the future.

It should have a least a year on it, so it should be in warranty. Contact the place where you purchased it for more details.

Presidian DVD/VHS combo player/recorder model 16-163

make sure you are using the right input. Also the VHS might have macrovision copy protection to prevent copying. you may need a video stabilizer box if you have macrovision. If its a home movie VHS then its an input setting on your DVD recorder. it may only record from the internal vcr not an external but I am not sure

I just purchased a new mxdm66 remote for my boat stereo. does it need to be programmed to my stereo and if so how do I do it? thanks

Surely. It should be programmed with your stereo. Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily. http://remotesearch.blogspot.com/ http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ http://electrohelponline.blogspot.com/

Monitor doesnt want to open

SEE THIS CAUSES AND FIX IT. God bless youService a DVD player disc tray:
  1. Open the housing by removing mounting screws and anything blocking the tray. Press the open/close control to the extend tray, then unplug the unit. To remove a clip-on tray front, brace the tray and slide the panel to one side.
  2. Unplug cables between the front panel and the interior. Remove any screws securing the front panel and remove the panel. If it won't move, check beneath it for clips or additional screws.
  3. Remove the hold-down on top of the disc tray and gently pull the tray out of the player. Clean the travel rail and guides with a swab dampened with denatured alcohol. Lubricate lightly with white lithium grease.
  4. Remove the drive belt (using gloves or tweezers) to inspect for dirt, water, or damage. Clean with a lint-free cloth moistened with denatured alcohol. If the belt is damaged, replace it.
