Why will my cordless dremel not take a charge

Make sure it is seated properly in it's cradle. Check that the dremel and cradle contacts are clean. If it is brand new, it may need a longer initial charge. Check the manual under 'troubleshooting'. Good luck!

What is the thread size of the spindel on the Dremel MultiPro 395 type 5?

.280 inch- 40 inch. Standard. Checked 3-5 websites. Forgot the metric size, but I'm sure you can convert it. That's correct Feb-9-2016

Is there a specific tool recommended to loosen the set screw so I can change the tip? It doesn't mention anything in the directions
