Does the tube need to be full of water above the jets for the power to turn on/off

when ever you fill the spa always fill it where the filter goes on just put the hose inside and let it do its thing filling up. After the skimmer is filled you should be able to fire it up, but don't run it with the pump dry or not primed you'll ruin it.

I have the big ez spa I cannot get the SL setting to change and stay on anyother setting.

Hi as you know you are in the Sleep mode of your pump and filter settings. To change the setting to a different setting you must click on the temperature button followed by the light button. This will put you in the filter selection mode once there use the temperature buttons to toggle between the options. For more information you can look to this link. My spa is at 89 and its set for 104 and the pump will no cut on whats the problem

Are you saying that it stops at 89°? It will not go any higher, even though you have the set temperature at 104°? If that is what you are stating, then you probably have a bad temperature sensor.

You may be in economy mode. Economy only heats the water during a programmed filter cycle. You want it to be in standard mode which turns on the hot tub once the water is 2 degrees below the desired temperature. There should be a mode or program button on your topside. One some systems you'll have to hit prog/mode button then the temp up button to change the mode. There is also a sleep mode. Never used it not sure what it's for.

What does code ic mean?

I have not seen an ic error code. I have seen ICE several times. So either you do not have the original pack that came with the spa or your display may be malfunctioning. What is your hot tub doing while the ic code is pressent? Portable Hot Tubs and Spas On Sale

Dream maker ez spa has power but jets won't turn on. Fuse is fine and unit is getting power

Thanks for the question! It could be several different issues. First, It's possible the topside jet button is malfunctioning and may need to be replaced. Is there any type of error message flashing on the topside display? Second, The pump may be bad, If it's a 2 speed pump it's possible to still circulate the water and maintain temp while the pump is malfunctioning. Depending on your level of "do it yourselfness" you may attempt to troubleshoot and repair it on your own. Checking for an error code on your topside is the best 1st step to take. I wish I could be of more assistance however, without being able to inspect it myself those are the best suggestions I can muster. Good luck & I hope I was able to provide at least some assistance. =)

Spa was below temp, now it heats and won't shut off.

Is your spa overheating, heating up past 104 degrees? If so, you have a contactor (or relay) stuck shut and the spa should go into OH at 108 degrees. d If your hot tub is only heating to 104 or what ever temp you have it set at and the motor runs 24 hours a day there are a couple of things you'll want to check. First, make sure that you do not have the pump set to run 24 hours a day. Second, you'll want to see if the pump icon is lit up on the control panel. You will want to check to see if the icon is on while the spa is supposed to be resting. During filter cycles the icon will be lit. If you are not in a filter cycle and the pump is on while the icon light is off, you have a stuck contactor (relay). The relays can be found online for less then a couple of dollars. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.

I have a Deammaker hot tub. The tub works and pump is running. When I turn on the air valve the is no change in jets. The air vave is opening when turned.

I don't know this model but most hot tub have a micro switch on the valve that starts the compressor to confirm turn the power off then removing the access panel and take the wires of the switch and connect to gether then turn back on if the compressor is working then the switch needs replacing if it is not workin the the compressor is faulty

check the GFIC trip it and reset it, next see if any lights come on in the spa. if no you might want to check for voltage at the spa, if you have the set voltage 115 OR 230v .
