Get a hold of dish network, you don't own the receiver it would be up to them to service it or replace it, but that doesn't sound normal for it to run all the time

HDMI 1 if your going to be watching it more than other programs or HDMI 2 if you have cable and spend a lot of time on it. Personal preference is 2.

Para programar el control remoto a su televisor Samsung hay ciertos codigos que puede integrar al control para que funcionen con la t.v. Los codigos para un televisor Samsung son los siguientes: 738, 516, y el 680. El procedimiento a programarlo el el siguiente: Oprima el boton de t.v localizado en la parte de arriba del control por 5 segundos hasta que todos los demas botones se iluminen rojos, una vez esten iluminados ingrese uno de los codigos seguidos por el signo de numero (#) por ejemplo 738# el boton de t.v deberia iluminarce 3 veces, despues de esto puede tratar las funciones. El procedimiento a integrar uno de estos codigos al control para que funcione con la T.V es el siguiente: oprima el boton de T.V localisado en la parte de arriba del control hasta que los demas botones se prendan en rojo, una vez esto suceda ingrese uno de los codigos seguido por el signo de numero por ejemplo 700#, el boton de T.V deberia iluminarse 3 veces en rojo despues de esto puede tratar el control para verificar que funcione. Para programar el control de DISH Network con su televisor va a necesitar integrar un codigo que sea compatible para el control y la t.v. Ciertos codigos que se pueden integrar al televisor son los siguientes: 678, 156, 520, 505, 654, y 627. El prcedimiento para integralo es el siguiente: Oprima el boton de T.V localizado en la parte de arriba en su control por 5 segundos, despues cuando vea que los botones de arriba se iluminan ingrese un codigo seguido por el signo de numero por ejemplo: 654#. El botond de t.v debe de iluminarce 3 veces, despues de esto puede intentar apagar el televisor, deberia funcionar. To program the remote control to your television we have certain codes that integrate into the remote allowing it to function your T.V. Some of the codes we have for Element brand T.V are 627, 659, and 902 the procedure to integrate them is the following: Press and hold the clear T.V button located at the top of your remote until all the other buttons light up in red, once you see all the buttons lid enter one of the codes above followed by the pound key, for example 627# the T.V button should light up 3 times. After this u can try your remote to verify it works. Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. You might have to check different codes said for your device.

This sounds like there is an issue with the power to the 722K. Really, the only step that MAY fix this issue is to do a hard reset. Basically unplug the receiver from the wall outlet for 10-15 seconds and plug it back into the wall outlet, not a surge protector. If you have done this and this is still happening, the issue is the receiver itself and your best option would be to get a replacement for it.

test with another remote. buy a cheapy remote at dollar general and see if you can connect it to the tv with code number code numbers on internet

I use Dish and have had no signal at all. The error codes are Tuner 2 31-12-45 and tuner 1 11-12-45

You can accomplish this by either going to the specific TV and selecting the record option at the time the program is about to come on or you can press menu-8-5 and change the record preferences. You can either set the DVR to record programs to the TV2 location by default or TV1 by enabling the record plus feature. In dual mode without record plus enabled all programs you select to record default to the tuner you are viewing e,g, if watching tv1 and selecting to record a program in the future it will record to the tv1 location.In single mode all recordings default to tv2 so you can continue to watch live tv from tv1.
