If model here is correct what is wrong with the TV?

It may be sensing shorted circuits so it goes into safety shutdown mode and trying to restart cycle.
It will require to do an in-depth troubleshooting starting at the power supply module first and then the backlights inverter board, the main board.

Try to "power cycle" the TV. Unplug its power, hold down one of the buttons located physically on the TV for 10-20 seconds and then plug it back up and attempt again. If that fails, time to see if you have a protection plan from best buy. Don't bother calling Dynex if your 1yr manufacturer warranty has expired.

check the connection to your tcon board and main av board. if the connections are good one of these boards is more than likely bad. Google their part numbers and see if that board has a known issue

I think in the long run you will be better off to just replace the Board or Ship board to PTS for rebuilt

check your tv colour system may be change.go to menu and select colour system on Auto.if still not come then reset you tv from tv setup.

Hello My friend. Don't worry once the Dimes is able to tune on PAL system by using the video (RCA entrances. Maybe you need to conect a old video recorder to imporve the image or yune the chanels.
But it works. I made it in Brazil (PAL system) and my Dinex works wonderfull.

I don't know what might have been making it turn on in the middle of the night. It it keeps turning off while you are watching, you might want to check if:
1) someone is accidentially hitting the SLEEP button on the remote. The TV will turn off automatically 30, 60 or 90 minutes after the sleep button is hit. It can also get hit if you set the remote between seat cushions on the couch and someone moves, etc.

2) Does the TV get enough ventilation to allow heat in the TV to circulate away from the set? Drapes, tight cabinet, etc. The temperature sensor may turn the TV off automatically to protect the TV.

3) Your power cord is not well plugged into the wall or you might have some issues with the wall outlet - expecially if it is an older home (before 1980). Any wiggle of the cord may cause it to disconnect for a very short time - the TV will shut off.

4) This Brand is only available through BEST BUY and this model has a 1-year warrentee. The manual says to call 1-888-BESTBUY for service.
