Diesel Toys - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support
My man diesel TGA 18.350. it shows me on the dashboard coads 01080_5 and 03076_9 and 03792_5 please i sent my questions but i did not get an answer please i need help
difficulty in find a web page that has the codes properly explained
one site I found ---techtransa.It has a list or the numbers before the under score and what the fault areas are
To get there I went google and typed in--mandiesel model tga-18-350 fault codes--
there are other pages that make reference to fault codes but are not specific to your model
reading around the fault codes are specific to man and it seems that a normal obd-11 scanner will not be accurate
you might have time to down load a good site when you find one , but as I consider a heavy vehicle should be out earning income , time off the road costs money so, in the mean time and until you can find a down load for the faults, maybe you should take it to a service dealer and have it fixed
possible even to get a copy of the codes from the technician

What would be causing my MF65 to blow diesel out of the dipstick?
If your machine is truly spraying fuel oil out of the dipstick tube, you most likely have some severe engine damage, most likely originating from a leaky (dripping) fuel injector/nozzle. The fact that fuel oil is present in the crankcase leads me to believe that at least one cylinder has been overfueling, causing wash-down of the cylinder walls and resultant piston ring and cylinder wall (or liner) damage. Enough raw fuel is getting (first) into the cylinder and (second) into the crankcase to wash the normal oil film off the cylinder walls, resulting in excessive ring and cylinder wear. In all likelihood, you now have excessive crankcase pressure due to the damaged rings and cylinder walls, as compression pressure is being lost into the crankcase..
Have this engine evaluated by a professional, as a tear-down and rebuild is very likely necessary. At the very least, the fuel system -- injectors/nozzles specifically -- must be investigated and repaired...

How do I remove the broken end of the tach drive recessed into the end of the camshaft on my massey ferguson 65 diesel
Hi Bill:
Here's a trick you might try. It should work if the broken part is not physically attached and if it is magnetic.
Find a short piece of plastic tube, even a drinking straw will do, that will slide into the hole.
Find a common nail that will just slide into the tube. Grind the pointed end off the nail so it is flat.
Slide the plastic tube over the nail also that it bumps into the head, then cut the tube off flush with the flat end.
Slide the tube with the nail in it into the hole in the end of the crankshaft.
Take your handy super magnet and touch it to the head of the nail.
If you are lucky, if you gently pull the nail/tube out with the magnet attached, the broken but will come out.
Hope this helps.
