Hello Just Press and Hold the erase button located on the bottom rigth then press rewind. All the rewind part will be erase.

Hola en realidad no tengo el diagrama pero you te recomiendo que verifique la tableta pricipal por la parte posterior normal mente es muy comun una de las venas del trasistor se fracture observe cuidadosa mente por la fractura ya que si no te equivocaste al conectar el motor no creo que este danado el trasistor recuerda que el Modelo 2740 su motor es de 4 terminales la primera de lado izquierdo es negativo despues positivo sige A y despues B qae estos dos ultimos son para resitencia de velocidad variable 20K

Catherine, did you ever get an answer for your problem with MicWiz? I am a transcriptionist that works from home and they are having problems getting it to recognize my foot pedal (as well as another MT) with the new software. It is recognized by Express Scribe and ever other system we use, but not Merge.

Hola Soy Tecnico en servicio de SONY y Dictaphone Y estas en lo correcto el modelo de Dictaphone 2750 Stadard cassette uno de sus problemas es que si la unidad queda con el cassette dentro y sin seleccionar auto encendido el motor queda funcionando asi que se muere mas rapido la verdad es que necesitas remplazar el motor y el motor solo tine dos cables asi que no es mayor problema el remplazarlo te puedo dar un correo para que solicites el motor normalmente esta compania no vende partes solo da el servicio de reparacion de las maquinas pero puedes decirles que Javier te recomendo para comprar estos motores que nececitas, despues de remplazarlo tus maquinas quedaran bien otraves email to [email protected]

There is a switch on the right-hand side of the machine labelled 'VOX'. Set this switch to the 'OFF' position and you should be good to go.

'VOX' is voice-activated recording. It's designed to record only when someone is talking, and to pause when nothing is being said. In theory it's a great feature, but it never really works as good as you'd like. It'll usually miss the first few words you say, or it'll cut in & out while you're talking.

You can also set the 'VOX' sensitivity by adjusting the 'Tone/VOX' slider on the front of the machine.

If you press and hold the 'Conf' button, the machine will record using it's built-in mic (located on the right-hand side of the machine, closer to the front). It is probably recommended to get a microphone that plugs into the machine for better recording quality. Depending on what you're recording, you could get a handheld microphone or a telephone record adapter that plugs into your phone and the back of the 3750 (press and hold 'Tel Rec' to use that).

Is this a standard-size cassette unit? Is the model number a 2740 or 2750? When you first plug the power in, does the machine make two clicking noises? Does the display show 'CAS' or 'No Cassette'?

Tape is turning? Volume turned up? Can you hear static over the speaker?

When in RECORD, pressing the 'Cue' button will put a tone on the tape. This is used on the transcriber's machine to identify different jobs and such.

When in PLAY, pressing the 'F Play' button will change the playback speed to 1.5.

If you hold the 'ERASE' button and hold the portable in REWIND, it'll erase the tape while it's rewinding.

I've still got some parts for these machines if you still need it repaired.

The sensor that detects the tape movement is bad and will need to be replaced.

The tape might be getting old, replace it and see what happens.  If it is still acting up, It might be he is not recording properly or the recorder is bad.  Try talking directly into the mic and see if it is better.  If it is, he needs to talk louder or needs to hold it close.

Not sure if you're still having problems with this portable, but the first thing I would check is to make sure that you've put the batteries UNDER the battery clip in the battery compartment. Does the machine just make a 'beeping' noise when it tries to play, rew, or FF?

Unfortunately, units made in foreign countries don't have much of a user manual - ESPECIALLY in english.
There is no support website for Mikomi - and - unfortunately it will be up to you to "translate" the english to english :D.

You need to have a telephone record adapter plugged into the back of the 3750. Then you press and hold the Tel Rec button until it begins recording.

Also check to see if the 'Vox' or 'VA' switch is on (voice activation). This will cause the machine to pause if the volume is too low.

I'd try cleaning the internal switches on the main PCB. You'll have to remove the back cover on the portable (3 screws) and the remove the four screws on the PCB and CAREFULLY flip the PCB over to reveal the switches.

I assume the portable plays fine, but just won't rewind?
