Maybe you need to switch to another video recording software instead. Smartpixel might be a good choice for you, it is compatible with all the PC games, and it has a PIC in PIC mode which allows you comment on the webcam while game capturing, it is simple and easy.

When I capture old VCR

Somehow, you have made your System Audio Output {Jack} the Primary source of the System's Audio. You are using Digital & Analog Audio at the same time. In Modern Electronics, you have to make one or the other the ONLY source of the System sound! I wish I could see your Set-Up because I know I'd spot the problem instantly. Your solution is most likely reading Your User's Guide very carefully, and finding the Switch Setting that is designed to make it work properly. This should not be happening -- most likely you just have a Function Set incorrectly.

I have had driver installation failure, reason is:

This problem happens from my experience, mostly on graphics cards. I think I would make a new folder on my desktop, name it something like abcd, and copy the installation folder to there. Do not move - copy! Then I would rename the installation folder to something shorter, like efgh. Then install from efgh. This has worked for me.

Can not change One Touch Video Capture from AVI to DVD

You can simply convert the avi to whatever you want with avidemux which is available on the internet for free. The presets work for most people but as you become expert you can adjust many settings. The conversion takes a few minutes for most. avidemux Dave

VC500 - windows 7 - video shows up fine until

The main power supply regulator section circuit fault. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Not capturing all the video

Video capture is cpu intensive and you do not want the computer to be distracted in any way during the process lest you incur errors.
