Yep, they are all words. I put them in the right order! :>D No wiring diagram available and no service manual. https://www.google.com/search?q=dewalt+dc500+wiring+diagram It should be 110 volts in, and through a transformer to 18 volts output where is meets up with the 18 volt battery socket and from there to the motor. ..

I'm smelling electrical smells and seeing a little spark/friction in my DeWalt DC970 cordless drill. Replace brushes?

Yes, it is an indication that the brushes are too short and not making a firm contact.

DeWalk DC500 wet/dry vaccum doesn't work

Vacuum works with the battery but does not work with 120 volt. Every time I plug it in it blows the internal fuse. I have replaced the fuse inside the vaccum several times and every time i plug it in it blows. What do you think it could be?

How to replace bearings

If you cannot work out how to pull it apart by looking at it, you are probably better to take it to a Dewalt repair centre and have then do the repair. They make good equipment so it is worth spending the money to have a professional do the repair.

After using it to clean up construction project, I cleaned the tank, filter and cleared the hose, but I have lost good suction.

Check the plug on the side to see if it's loose or missing.
