Help! My screwdriver bit is stuck in the Dewalt 682 gyroscopic screwdriver. How do I get it out??

For some reason, I can't find your screwdriver on the Dewalt site. They suggest calling them if you can't find an item. That info is below. That said, here is a YouTube that may be of interest. Be careful and don't burn yourself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-z6izpCslFM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q7zra2v_Bb4 https://www.wikihow.com/Remove-a-Drill-Bit https://www.dewalt.com/support/ call Dewalt: US: 1-800-4-DEWALT ' Mon - Fri 8am-5pm EST

I have a Dewalt work light. DC528. I haven’t used it for a while and now that I want to, it won’t work. I’ve charged the battery and bought and replaced new bulbs. Any ideas?

If the battery is really being fully charged the connections are probably dirty but if the battery has been left discharged for a while it could now be faulty. A faulty battery can often be recognised by the unusually short time charging takes and sometimes an extraordinarily lengthy time. A voltmeter should be used to check the battery...

My charger displayed cold/hot pack

This is indicating the battery is too hot to charge, usually after coming off the tool right after some hard work. During the charging process the battey heats up so if you charge a hot battery, thereby making it hotter, you shorten the lifespan of the battery considerably. If you are getting a hot/cold pack delay indication on the charger, it should automatically start charging once the battery has cooled down sufficently.

I have a dewalt cordless drill dcd776c3. Charger shows red light (on full - no flashing) yet the drill is not working - as if the battery is flat? I've tried the 2nd battery too - same result.

What kind of batteries are they? If they are NiMh and haven't been used for a while, they can lose their charge and NOT be sble to be charged again!

Do you have a 3rd battery that does work? Buy a battery to make sure the charger is working or that the drill is working. If yes to both of these, then your old batteries are NFG.

How can I get circuit diagram of Dewalt Dcb-107.fault is not charging.

As far as a schematic goes, I would guess that it is proprietary in nature and that not even dewalt "repairs" them. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the same model had several different versions of circuit boards representing different production runs

Remove the chuck dc970

I'm assuming you have a DCD970 as DeWalt doesn't have a DC970 and the DW970 is an impact driver. The chuck on your drill is a new design that doesn't have a lock screw inside the chuck, they are put on very tight with lock-tite to hold them on. They are made to be taken off with a special chuck holder and vice jig that only service centers have. The allen wrench method used on older chucks won't work as the chuck will just loosen when you hit the allen wrench. I have on occasion removed one by doing the following: Turn the chuck fully open then secure it in a vice with the drill straight up. Holding the drill body and using the handle for leverage, turn the drill counterclockwise, as you are looking down on it, with steady, strong pressure. If the chuck breaks free it will spin off easily. If you are at all afraid you may break the handle you may have to take or send it to a service center to have it removed.

I have bought Dewalt 20V DCB107 drilling machine with 2 batteries. Both batteries are not charging first time itself. The charger red light constantly lighting but not blinking

I DON'T KNOW. COULD BE UNDER WARRANTY FOR FREE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT. I HAVE RYOBI AND UPDATED ITEMS. THEY HAVE 3 CHARGERS 2 SMALLER RATED CHARGERS WOULD NOT GIVE ME 'FULL CHARGED' LIGHT. OLD BATTERIES WOULD NOT CHARGE ON OLDER CHARGER. FROM INTERNET ADVICE, I REPEATEDLY PLUG AND UNPLUG CHARGER BY HAVING PLUG LOOSE WHEN DOING THIS. SOMETIMES IT TAKES 4 TIMES TO CHANGE FROM DEFECTIVE TO CHARGE. SOMETIMES IT TAKES 20 TIMES TO SEE THE CHARGE LIGHT.
