Battery type for WL-4A push button unit

Question moved from Computers category. The easy answer is the same as the one that is in it. Impossible to tell you without full 'make model (what it is)'. A quick search makes me think you are referring to wireless door chimes? For the push button unit, my guess is that it will be a single AAA, a CR123, or a couple of LR44. Google search make model replace battery or make model manual will find it. https://www.google.com/search?q=WL-4A+pushbutton+unit ..

Pilot light goes out after thermostat kicks off

If it's a direct spark ignition type heater maybe that's how it's designed to.work .When called for heat pilot open allowing gas then ignitor spark and ignite the pilot then gas valve open and allow gas through burner then unit fires off .
Once temp is met pilot valve closes and pilot out .

I have a Glo warm model# GWN30T

Sounds like your pilot is dirty, with a can of air blow ( with gas off) directly into pilot. Do that a couple times, then relite.

Rusty fuel tank

Ive personally never seen a stainless steel tank on a factory vehicle .. i cheap fix is to take a couple old stereo speakers and take the magnets from the back of them , stick them to the bottom of the tank away from the pickup . it will hold the rust particles to that one area and will lesten the chance of them getting through the system . Another cheap yet more time consuming fix is to by Red Kote gas tank liner from your local part store . Drop the tank and clean and coat it .... Otherwise , buy a new tank....

Briggs and Stratton Vanguard twin stopping running and wont start

A couple of things you might try...off the shelf from Lowe's or walmart is engine repair in a bottle...I've used it and it works, but read instructions. If that doesn't work, you may have a lacquer build up on carb. Pull the fuel bowl off carefully and check for a clear opening in the fuel pickup as they may be clogged. Remove gas tank and flush it and then make sure it's really dry...replace fuel filter and install two in series in place of one. Also, try to find a gas station that sells ethanol free gas and use it for your small engines. Hope this helps some.

Setting the codes for the door chime

Presuming that you are asking how to set codes for the Desa International door chime, here's a solution: There are two components of the Desa door chime --- the ringer assembly and the door button. Inside each component is a set of eight pairs of pins and several square-ish plastic jumpers. To set a code, you must push jumpers onto the pair of pins for each of three different numbers. (You may find that you have more than three jumpers. If so, the others are spares which you can tell because they will only be covering one of the two pins in a pair.) Whatever three numbers you choose, the ringer and button must match exactly. 5-6-7 seems to be the default set-up as delivered from the factory. This is only a problem if anyone else in the neighborhood also has a Desa chime with this setting. If you use pin 8, the ring changes from a two-tone chime to a 16-note sequence. Good luck!

Clippper just stopped working

Check for spark. You can also spray some carb cleaner into the engine through the carb and if it runs for a second then it's a carb issue (not getting fuel).

Reddy repair center

There are four possible answers to this problem, if the heater starts normally, runs for a few seconds or minutes and the shuts down but was still running normally at the time of shut down, this could be caused by the photocell, also known as the flame out control. This safety device may be failing, shutting down even though the heater is working normally, check the operation of the photocell. The second cause may be partial fuel filter blockage, the heater is effectively starving itself of fuel, so the flame blows out, hence the puff of smoke, and then shuts down on the safety cut out. Third cause, if this model has a compressor at the rear of the motor, the problem could be low pump pressure, caused by wear or contamination of the carbon blades, this would cause the wrong amount of fuel to be syphoned up, with weak fuel mix the heater may blow itself out and shut down. The fourth cause, perhaps indicated by the puff of white smoke, is contamination of the fuel with water, water will cause the white smoke and also is indecated by white residues or a power like substance on the end plate of the heater which glows red hot when burning.
