My AVR (HK 255) is dying. Looking for a replacement My speakers: Infinity Alpha 40 Frequency Response 45 - 22000 Impedance 8 Ohm Recommended Amplifier Power 10 Watt, 10-150 Sensitivity 91 dB

Yes you can the figure you quoted is MINIMUM power, always go more than the minimum. Just like the freeway there is a minimum speed and a maximum speed, so staying within the 2 ranges of speed you are good.

Difference Between Denon In Dash DCR- 930R / 420 / 570

You will that the same tuner module is used across the range, at least when they are part of the same series. The tape transport has probably broken the capstan belt. Not a big deal to replace generally. If you want to know more about it, get back to me here:). A "FixYa" vote would be great for my profile.

Do I need a housing to replace stock stereo? Or

There are two types of receivers. Double-DIN and single-DIN. Double-DIN is easy to see as it is DOUBLE the SINGLE-DIN's height. If your vechile is a single-DIN it will only be about 3-4 inches tall, while the DOUBLE-DIN is doulbe that 6-8inches tall.

If you have a DOUBLE-DIN in your car and are installing a SINGLE-DIN you will need a housing.

If you have a SINGLE-DIN in the vechile you will not be able to install a DOUBLE-DIN without heavy moddification and cutting.

Please rate if this helped :)

Cd input?

I'm afraid it would be a complicated task to tap into the line input on the cd changer connector because the line input only becomes active when a changer is connected, so you would have to connect a device that would talk to the head unit to tell it that a changer was there

Help with code radio for my nissan pp2787h

The radio code is a security feature that's meant to deter theft, and it's unique to each vehicle. If you've lost your code, you'll need to contact a Nissan dealership or service center and provide proof of ownership. They should be able to help you retrieve the code. Please do not attempt to use codes from the internet as incorrect attempts may lock your radio.
