Nelco sewing machine 234F - stitch length knob wont turn
My Nelco Sierra 234F stitch length dial was stuck. Turns out it's pretty easy to repair if you are handy with tools.
Remove top of the machine. Remove set screw holding stitch length mechanism to body about half-way down inside. I loosened the screw and used a magnet to retrieve the screw and washer. Gently pull mechanism out the front, jiggle a bit to disengage rear cylinder from lever and pin inside body. When out remove two screws holding rear cylinder to mechanism and remove, note that the opening in the cylinder should be up when the dial is set to "button hole."
Remove the small snap ring holding the reverse button push rod and spring and pull it out. Remove snap ring holding outer cylinder onto inner cylinder...this probably requires a snap-ring removal tool.
Work the outer cylinder free from the inner cylinder by using lubricant (maybe let it sit over night), twisting with a wrench, whatever it takes. The problem is that the oil/grease between the two cylinders has dried out and become sticky.
Once the outer cylinder is off clean everything and verify the cylinders turn freely when assembled. Lightly file the cylinders smooth if you gouged them when taking them apart. Lubricate with oil or light grease, reassemble and reinstall the snap ring. Reinstall reverse button push rod, spring and small snap ring. Reinstall rear cylinder with the two screws, note orientation of opening in rear cylinder.
Installation is a bit tricky, you have to turn and wiggle the mechanism to get the pin on the lever to enter the side opening of the rear cylinder. Lifting the lever and pin mechanism from the top can help by moving the pin rearwards. It took me a few tries.
Once it's in orient the set screw hole in the outer cylinder under the set screw opening in the body and reinstall the set screw and washer (I used a magnet to lower the pair into the screw hole).
Reinstall cover and you are good to go. If you drop the set screw or washer remove the bottom and retrieve them, or fish them out with a magnet if you can see them.
Scanner won't scan library barcodes.
The barcode reader is something that the backup software typically uses to identify which tape it is dealing with.
So typically your backup software can already natively read the barcode and therefor you don't need any other software.
The linked barcode reader is probably for reading a barcode that was provided via a picture (from a scanner or camera). This has nothing to do with the barcode reader that can be part of a tape library.

Datalogic touch 65 pro
My personal suggestion would be to go for these repair catalogs. I know this website reliable-store.com that i used to buy them from, and they have online
it was very good manual. Go ahead, I bet.
Hi, I have this message
Hello,
I have the same problem, I found a description how to fix it: http://www.knowledgeonecorp.com/support/faq/FAQ_programf734.htm but I don't have the right software. How did you solve the problem?
