My Danze showerhead runs even when turned off
try cleaning the inside of the valve with 1500 grit wet sandpaper. and then put a lot of waterproof plumbing grease in there and also on the cartridge. sometimes you can get a build up of hard water inside the valve body and that will cause leaks. just dont over do it with the sandpaper and dont anything more abrasive than 1500 grit.
Hansgrohe tub spout spray orangey water when first turned on
The only cause for this is iron pipe being used somewhere in the system. This is commonly found between the drop eared 90 in the wall and the tub spout. Most likely your installer has used an iron pipe nipple at this location. We recommend using a brass nipple to avoid rusty water. No cold water, Only hot water in showers.
The plumbers screwed up when they installed your showers. There are two connections on each shower. one for hot and one for cold. they connected the two hot water lines together with a T fitting and then ran a line to the main hot water line and tied it in. Then they connected the two cold water fittings with a T and ran that line to the main hot water line and tied it in there instead of into a cold water line like they were suppose to. This is the only possible logical solution to this problem. They tied your cold water connections to both showers into a hot water line instead of a cold water line.
Water keeps running continually
I lowered
Two possibilities. the flapper may not be seating correctly and not letting the water fill the tank high enough for the float to shut off the water. In this case replace flapper as they wear with time and chemicals and the rubber loses its elasticity and becomes very hard or brittle. Second if this does not solve problem, Replace water fill valve, it may have a grain of sand or spec of dirt inside it not letting it shut off completely when the float rises.
I have a 1 yr old new Danze Orrington two piece
Your thought is probably correct. Usually toilet tank lids and feet on them to allow air enty. You might have to add rubber feet (self adhesive) or balance the lid on the tank differently.
When I rotate the shower
The seal for the hot water is loose, allowing it to vibrate and give you that noise. The springs will go into the valve body, replacing the old springs and giving the seal more strength to resist vibrating from the water flow. I bet they give you directions, if not a good plumbing supply store may be able to walk you through it. Sorry to say I'm not familiar with your brand, but the generic problem is quite common.
