It sounds like the Freon leaked down. That always happens when they are stored. Find a community college that has refrigeration classes and maybe they will look at it for you.
Compressor runs and gets hot but does not cool unit
This product has been discontinued i dont think many danby units are parts supported more likely generic after market parts fitted by air con mechanics do the job relay first might be a thematic one and an compressor motor fan relay then check gas pressurehttps://www.winecoolerdirect.com/danby-wine-cooler-dual-zone-dwc283bls/DWC283BLS.html

Wine cooler makes noise and runs hot
The price looks fine for my area its about a 3 hour job done properly. you should consider a new wine cooler and cut your losses because if their only replacing the compressor they should be replacing the cap tube and liquid drier if the cap tube is not replaced could be a waste of money

Why is it not cooling?
Your wine cooler problem could be caused by any number of things ranging from a bad thermistor (temp. sensor), loss of refrigerant in the compressor (leak), a failed thermocouple, bad circuit board, etc.. I would recommend having a reputable appliance repair shop look at it. Repair parts are available through Sears Parts Direct. If the repair shop estimate is over $300 - $400, you're probably better off just replacing it with a new one; unless you're particularly enamoured of this particular model for some reason. Good luck.
Fan top back of unit is on and off continuely and
Unplug unit. Find name plate info on back of fan. It may be a 6 watt stamped CW. The rotation on small watt motors is based on looking at it from the "lead" end or rear of motor. You will have to cut the cord, WHEN UNIT IS UNPLUGGED. A new fan motor can be connected to the old cord with wire nuts. Install old blade on new fan motor.
Fan noise
This is most likely due to dirt that has accumulated on the fan itself, making it unbalanced. Otherwise, do a visual inspection of the fan and see if you can see any physical damage. If you can not clean it or otherwise balance the fan back out - then you would need to get a replacement fan. You can call Danby at 800-263-2629 and order the part(s) needed.
Why does wine freeze?
Check for corrosion on the temp probe. The digital displays use thermistors to determine the temp so if the probe has dust on it it will change the resistance reading and tell the cooler that it is warmer than it is. All you can do is clean the probe, and if that doesn't solve the problem then the control or probe are faulty as they are usually one piece you will have to change it out. If you are mechanically inclined you can change out the temp control with an a19 abc24c remote bulb temp control from Johnson controls and that will last of the rest of your life.
Tech digital radio
That's a good question! First we have to find out if the light is part of a low temp circuit. If it is then I would look at replacing a low temp switch if it has one. The fact that it's still keeping wine cool tells me it either doesn't have a (LTS) or it isn't working. If you can find out where the wires from the light are located I would just cut a wire and tape the loose end with electrical tape. Its likely that its nothing but a warning light. One other option is to black out the light with paint or tape.

Beeping will not stop on wine cooler - red wine side
Beeping usually indicates that something has gone wrong. Probably not cooling properly. The water coming out would indicate that the unit has defrosted. Turn the unit back on again and see if the red side is cooling properly. Some wine fridges have independent evaporators which allows different cooling temps in different parts of the cabinet.
