I have a Dacor PGM 365 5 burner cooktop. Power burner igniter continues to spark when pot is on burner. When I remove pot igniter stops sparking. Thoughts?

The only thing I can think of is the the igniter has some faulty insulation and the pot is completing the circuit, or the pot is pressing something. They do have an igniter service kit. https://www.dacorparts.com/content/DacorLookups/PGM365-1.pdf ..

Dacor model W305 oven element will not turn off

If the element in your Dacor W305 oven will not turn off, there are a few things you can try:
  1. Turn off the power to the oven by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker. Wait a few minutes and then turn the power back on to see if the element has reset.
  2. Check the oven's temperature sensor. If the sensor is faulty, it may be sending the wrong signal to the oven's control board, which can cause the element to stay on. You can test the sensor with a multimeter to see if it's functioning properly.
  3. Check the oven's control board. If the control board is faulty, it may be sending a continuous signal to the element to stay on. You may need to replace the control board if this is the case.
  4. If the element is physically damaged, it may be causing a short circuit that keeps it on. In this case, you will need to replace the element.
If none of these solutions work, it may be best to contact a professional technician to diagnose and repair the issue.

Have Dacor wall oven ECS130SBK . The time is correct but to the right it says OFF in red. How do I fix it?

If your Dacor wall oven displays "OFF" in red, it means that the oven is not turned on or is in standby mode. To turn on the oven, follow these steps:
  1. Press the "Bake" or "Convection Bake" button.
  2. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired temperature.
  3. Press the "Start" button to begin preheating the oven.
If the oven still displays "OFF" after following these steps, try turning the power to the oven off for a few minutes and then turning it back on. If the issue persists, there may be a problem with the oven's control board or wiring and you may need to contact a qualified appliance repair technician for further assistance.

Dacor cooktop - one of the burners' igniter does not spark. Need to investigate what's wrong but do not know how to gain access

To access the spark module and switches underneath the spill tray of your Dacor cooktop, you may need to remove the burner and base assemblies. Here are the steps you can follow:
  1. Turn off the power to the cooktop by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker.
  2. Remove the grates, burner caps, and burner bases from the cooktop. Depending on the model of your Dacor cooktop, you may need to use a screwdriver or wrench to remove the screws or bolts that hold the burner bases in place.
  3. Carefully lift the spill tray out of the cooktop. If it seems to be stuck, check for any screws or bolts that might be holding it in place and remove them.
  4. Once the spill tray is removed, you should be able to access the switches and spark module underneath. Check for any loose connections or damaged components that may be causing the igniter to malfunction.
  5. If necessary, replace the faulty component or components. You can find replacement parts for your Dacor cooktop online or at a local appliance store.
  6. Reassemble the cooktop in reverse order, making sure all the components are properly aligned and securely fastened.
  7. Turn on the power and test the burner to ensure that the igniter is working properly.
Note: If you are not comfortable working with gas appliances or if you are unsure about any of the steps, it is recommended that you seek the assistance of a qualified technician.

Dacor Epicure Dual Fuel Range ERD36SACH/LP The oven only heats in pure covection.

f resetting the high temp limit switches did not resolve the issue, it may be a problem with the broiler and bake elements themselves or with the wiring and connections that supply power to them. It would be best to have a qualified technician inspect and diagnose the issue to determine the necessary repairs.

Dacor double oven model ECD227SCH relay board preventing oven from working......

It sounds like you may be having an issue with your Dacor double oven. If the relay board is preventing the oven from working, there could be a problem with the board itself or with a component it controls. To troubleshoot this issue, you may want to try the following steps:
  1. Check the oven's electrical connection and circuit breaker. Make sure the oven is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker has not tripped.
  2. Check the relay board for any visible damage, such as burnt or melted components. If you find any damage, the board may need to be replaced.
  3. Check the oven's thermostat. It is possible that the thermostat may be faulty and not allowing the oven to heat up.
  4. Check the heating element. If the element is not heating up, it may need to be replaced.
If these steps do not help resolve the issue, you may need to call a repair technician to diagnose and fix the problem. It is generally not recommended to try to repair an oven yourself, as it can be dangerous and may void the manufacturer's warranty.

Will Dacor dual burner model #EM4LBW, or EM4LFB be compatible replacement for Dacor EM4LBB?

Hi, to find the parts that you're looking for, I would first use ebay, alibaba and Amazon. Otherwise, you can reach out to Mcmaster-Carr for access to their catalog. If you still need help, then I would start calling junk yards to ask where you could find the part that you're looking for. Thank you.

How do I convert a dacor epicure range ERD48 from

Just change the orifices. Also adjust the pressure control regulator by reversing the built in plastic spacer, the regulator supplied is a dual fuel type. Any work should only be carried out by a person who is qualified to do so for safety reasons. Dacor are very unhelpful when I posed the same question directly to one of their technical advisors. The poor level of this persons 'technical' knowledge both surprised and concerned me.

I have a 5 burner Dacor Cooktop (SGM365) with

In the middle of each burner, there is a small brass ring that screws in the burner. If you unscrew all five and pull the knobs, the top should come off. From there you can access the electronics. Because all the burners ignite at the same time, I would suspect either a disconnected or shorted wire on your right burner or some corrosion has occurred at that burner preventing it from grounding properly.
