Do you have the right adapter for this tv?

Just get a wireless bridge. Basically a wifi to ethernet adaptor in a tiny box.
Configure it, then plug it in to the TV and its connected.
If you have a old wireless router or access point then you can put it to use to do the same thing.
TV Usb adapters will work. They do not need additional drivers. All seem to cost around the $100 mark.
The wireless bridge is a much better option. I also had a PS2 connected via this before my kids stole it.
TV can only talk to PCs, not NAS other than via USB.
