These systems sense the speakers and you cannot use a Y connector on them. You need to get the individual speakers connected to the card and see how it performs. Also check the device manager in windows to see if it show any errors and last but not least what is the motherboard, the operating system?

Hi, If you have a lot of Mp3 files. You can use windows media player. It will work with Zen. Just make sure you don't have any viruses on your PC or zen or it will destroy the files and do damage to internal memory. Good luck.

On windows the mic is disabled by default, you need to HELP NUMBER +1 833 272 0777manually enable audio in, either from control panel, or from audio card mixer.

Check if there are any software bundled with the installation of the driver. It should be under the "Programs and Features" option in the Control Panel. Look a Creative Labs software and uninstall it.

You can also try creating a new Windows User Account and try installing the driver thru their.

Let's try the obvious - then move on to a more in-depth fix for this.
Assuming you're running Windows ..
Lower right corner of the screen (in the task bar) is a speaker icon. If there's a red circle lined through, it means the audio is muted or turned off. Simply click on the icon, and the pop-up will show the same circle. Click on that, and it ought to work. Again, this is the obvious, and most common I've found to occur.

Even rechargeable batteries eventually lose their ability to be recharged and need to be replaced. I suspect you need to purchase a replacement battery for your Zen M, install it, and charge it for use. I see there are several online sources for ordering Zen M replacement batteries. Also, since Zen M is a product of Creative, you may find better help by posting on the relevant product forum here: http://forums.creative.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3 . It Might Be your Divers. Since your on XP your USB ports might not work. Trouble shoot in these steps

1.)Some of the older ports may be on USB 1.0.
Go into Device Manager under Control Panel

2.) See if Your USB Bus is Enabled

3.) Check If your Divers are for your computer you may of installed the wrong verson there are two versions for XP drivers 32Bit (X86) Drivers and 64Bit. Make sure they match your Operating Systems Arch to do this Look Up System Information under Control panel if you installed the wrong drivers uninstall the current ones and Re install the one that matches your Systems Arch

4.) You may have a faulty USB interface it could be a hardware issuse. Over time computers have static discharge if not grounded to a proper suface (Carpet can cause this) troubleshoot this by placeing a USB stick in the same port and see if it reads

5.) Your USB cable may be damaged consider getting a new one.

Try this......Down in the right corner, you should see a speaker icon. Right click that, and select Playback devices. Select your speakers from the list, set them as Default, and Click on Apply.

If after that they still do not work, open Control Panel, click on Troubleshooting, and click on Audio devices. Go through that wizard.
