Been a long time since I used a head set but never heard my own voice through it when speaking.

It should be compatible with any MP3 players.
The headset has a universal headphone jack that is compatible with most (if not all) devices.

I had the same problem... with my laptop, using vista. I plugged the mic dirrectly into my laptop and for some miracle, it works! try it out! ^-^

Doubleclick the little speaker icon in the taskbar and adjust sound, mic, line, gain, etc properties to suit. You may have to hit the Adv button to do more.

I'm not 100% sure it's the microphone in your case, since I am experiencing the same problem right now with another microphone. I borrowed a working headset from my friend and it is not working either. My volume is up like yours and I can barely hear myself. I am updating the drivers soon and I'll let you know if that fixes it.

I would think that your mic part is shot or you need to adjust the volume of your mic. Go to Start---->Control Panel---->Sounds And Devices---->Volume----->Advanced now adjust your input mic levels a little lower.

I have the same problem. When o remove the interface the led is not flashing as per the instruction manual
