It depends whether or not you have tilted the refrigerator. If you laid the refrigerator on it's side, you will wait 24 hours to plug it in, AFTER you have set it up in the normal position. That is to allow the refrigerant oil to return to it's proper position in the compressor. If you simply unplugged it to clean the coil, you may plug it in as soon as you are done.
