Have anhotc1100 I don't know alot about computers.
1. On boot up keep tapping F8, then select safe mode with networking
2. type TDSSKILLER.EXE in google.
3 Download tdss.killer.exe to your desktop screen (not the tdsskiller.zip file)
4. Install tdsskiller.exe and run a scan.
5 Once scan is complete, select cure.
6 Reboot your system as normal and everything should work just fine and no more blue screen.
If you get a blue screen of death (BSOD) after trying this method you will have to reinstall windows and the problem will stop.
I have used this method myself on 4 laptops and has fixed every single one. Best news of all is that tdsskiller is a freeware program that sorts all of your drivers in the system32 folder and it's FREE.
Hope this helps and let me know how you get on.
How can I ad an additional stick of RAM (2 GB) on
There should be a cover behind the laptop, unscrew these tiny screws and the back cover should open. Then you want to located where the rams are at. In some case the ram slot is already being used by the original rams and you need to take these out to install the new ram. Before hand, make sure your laptop support the correct type of the ram, in your case it will support ddr2 sdram up to 4gb. So pretty much once you locate the ram slot after opening the back panel... then just install it.

I have upgraded my tc1100
It sounds like that memory should be compatible with your tablet PC. It may be a bad memory stick -- try to replace it with a different memory stick (preferably from a different manufacturer) and see if it still gives you the same problem.
If you didn't have this problem before you installed the new memory, a different memory stick will likely correct the issue. You can also try removing the new memory and see if the PC boots up like it should.
The battery will no longer take a charge. Do I
Hi,
If
the battery of your laptop is not charging or taking any charge, i will advice you try using another similar charger to charge it, if still not charging, this
indicate that the cells within the battery are dead which means the
battery
needs to be replaced, i will suggest you get a replacement battery for your
laptop. this will help fix the problem on your laptop.

To reset the BIOS password read the information from this
link.
In case of your HP TC4400 laptop the easiest method would be using software from Hiren's Boot CD as it's pretty hard to open it up and reach for the CMOS battery or the jumper.

Go into Control Panel and select Device
Manager.
Look down the list of services and click on the missing
sound driver, (click on whichever one is highlighted or has a sign on
it telling you it is not working properly) and select Update Drivers
within the drivers sub menu. Let Windows do its stuff or let the
computer find it within System or System 32 directory on your hard
drive. If it can't find it, let Windows find a driver on the internet
or better still, download the driver from the manufacturers web
site.
Hope this helps.

Hi, well I have found out that NO you cannot "Upgrade" either the screen, or the Video card. This is due to the BIOS, not being able to be upgraded to allow for this to happen. And HP do NOT support anything like this either :(
Sir i have reinstalled windows
You need to go to the Tablet manufacturers website and download and install the correct driver, I think that should sort out your problem.
If this doesn't sort it out, then perhaps you have a faulty pen? However my guess is it's just a driver issue.
My hp tc4400 will not start up, I can hear the fan

Touchscreen not working
You just need to download and install the driver and it should be fine.
Go to www.hp.com and click on support and drivers then check the download drivers button and finally enter in the model in your case TC4200 and this will open a new page. Next select your operating system and you are now at the downloads page.
Download the drivers, save to desktop (its easy to find again then) and then run it and folow the inscreen instructions and reboot if asked to.
You haven't mentioned your operating system so I can't give you any more exact instructions. If you download and install all of the available drivers for your version of windows you can't go wrong. Windows will try to use built in drivers such as the video. These work but the oem driver usually gives you more options and sometimes better performance. The touch driver will either be part of the video or the input drivers dpending on what version of windows.
I need to reset the bios on my Compaq TC1000. I

This should remove all the residua power..
