• Remove all power (adapter power Cord and Battery (for laptops))
• Hold down the ON button for 30secs (dispersing internal voltage)
• Plug the power cord in only (ie leave battery out, for the moment)
• Turn on

Check your power adapter. Plug it in to a known good power receptacle. See if the power adapter has any lights that light up to make sure it is getting power. Take the battery out of the laptop and just only plug in the power adapter. Do any lights on the laptop light up when you power it on? Does it beep?Does it make a sound? Is where you plug your power adapter to your laptop loose or broken? if no sound or light the its either power adapter , dc jack or cable, or system board . Please note, it is also a good measure to re seat the memory. You may need to locate your disassembly guide

In Device Manager click the tiny arrow beside Network Adapters. This where the wireless card should be listed. Next, locate the row of small icons just below the View tab at the top of Device Manager window.. Click the icon on the right "Scan for Hardware Changes". Check again under Network Adapters to see if the wireless card is listed. Or, check for any yellow exclamation marks in Device Manager list. An item might be named Unknown Device. Double-click it and select Update Driver.

You have 2 outputs for video to TV. You can use either a HDMI cable (recomended) or a VGA cable but you'll have to by a audio cord to go with the VGA. Almost all TV's today take both, but if your TV takes HDMI, that would be the best.

jsut about all the computer now when the computer boots hold down the f12 and then choose the usb drive to boot. if it does not show the usb drive yo might hav to go into the cmos and change the settings. then again it if is aold computer then it might not have that option

1. Turn off your computer. 2. Press the power button to turn your computer on. 3. Hit F11 a few times quickly, while the launch screen is still up. This will launch the Recovery Manager. (If you see the Windows 7 boot logo, you've missed your chance and need to restart your computer and try again from step 2.) 4. On the left side it will say "I need help immediately". Underneath that there will be an option that says "System Recovery". Click on that. 5. There will be an option to either back up your files before restoring, or to recover without backing up your files. In my case, I'm recovering without backing up my files. 6. It will tell you to make sure all devices are disconnected from your computer. Make sure they are, and then click "OK". 7. There will be a "Welcome to the Recovery Manager" screen. Click "Next". 8. It will begin to reformat your partition and to reinstall the Windows 7 setup files. Once it's done doing that, click "Next". You'll be brought to a page saying "Recovery is Complete". After that all you need to do is reboot, and it will bring you through the wizard to set up Windows 7, just like on a new computer! Good luck :)

In the top left hand corner of the touch pad there is a little white dot. Double tap that with your finger and it should light up orange and that means your touch pad is disabled, double tap again to enable it. Hope that helps!

Use the "new folder" button in the upper left to make new folders. Drag files to the new folders. Click on the folder with the right mouse button and select 'rename' to make labels for your folders.

well looks like its a no video issue connect a external monitor to it and toggle the video over to see if you get an image to show on the external monitor.To Toggle video FN and the F4 key together to send the image to the external. if it works then you have a bad LCD screen or lcd cable. If it doesn't then it could be something else

The simplest way is to fully re-format the Hard Drive. Boot to any Windows installation CD or DVD, and when the option comes up, choose to install a new copy of Windows, and follow delete existing partitions and re-format HD options. For extra security, don't select "fast format". End this dummy installation after this formatting procedure. The most secure method for data deletion however is a bit more physical. Remove the hard drive and smash it with a hammer! You'll know the drive is well and truly trashed when you can here bits clanging around in the drive casing when you shake it.

Use the "function" ('FN') keyboard on the motherboard: hold it down, and press one of the 'F1' through 'F12' keys. Or, look on the case for a slider-switch (on/off). Look for a lamp (BLUE when wireless is enabled, ORANGE when wireless is disabled).

Does the RAM work in a different computer? Specifications for the RAM? Size of RAM? Speed? Number of chips per side? Single-sided or double-sided? Specifications for the motherboard? Maximum memory-size per stick of RAM that the motherboard supports?

Sometimes the computer gets set to the wrong screen. Has to be reset with "FN + F3 or F4. Video card may be bad, also. Try an external monitor if you have one.

just have to take one out and look at the speed of the ram. like if it a 5300 or 3200 or if it newer it could be 6300. it will say on the ram on the mother board
