Your password is corrupt in the router. Do a hard reset of your router by holding the reset button in for ten seconds as you power the router up. After that the router will be reset to its defaults. You will have to recreate any settings in the router (WiFi passphrase, ip settings, etc. ) so make certain you have that info ready when you do this.

Look on the router itself and there should be a sticker with the IP address and the password. And now you know of the general security flaw in most home routers; if someone has physical access to your router they OWN it.
