Hello,
off the power button in your phone.
Power on with pushed #button.
When button is blink release button and type the code, it make hard reset, flash, erase all setting.
Ethernet LAN light goes off after few seconds
when the booting all light are turn on that's normal , after few second ethernet light momently on because ethernet chip internaly loop and check the ethernet chip that why you seen the ethernet light momently on after that ethernet should lit on if you connect router ethernet link to pc or ethernet switch.
pls check the ethernet cable , if you connect to ethernet switch pls try with cross over cable and if you connected to pc pls check duplex to auto or forced to 100 Mbps
Cant get internet to pull up when wifi is on. how to get my smartphone to work with my linksys router
Hi Sir James,I see you are having issue with your smartphone pulling up internet from your Linksys Router.What browser do you use on your smartphone and is there an Error message when you try to pull up the internet on your smartphone?Have you tried checking the wireless settings on your Linksys router to check for any restrictions? and is there a password for you to connect to your wireless router? if there is try to remove the password/security and test to see if your smartphone will be able to pull up the internet with no issues.Also in your Routers Wireless settings check if there is a setting that allows the router to be detected all the time also on your smartphone make sure that on the Wi-Fi setting the phone is set to be detected by other devices, cause if it is set hidden then it may cause issues on your connection from your smartphone to the Router.What smartphone do you have so we can check both devices for setting concerns that may hinder in getting the proper internet connection from the Linksys Router.I believe other devices can connect to the Linksys Router with no issue such as a laptop maybe, if possible maybe you can try another device that has WI-Fi and try to connect to your Linksys and check if there will be connection issues, also if possible you have a friend that has a smartphone of a different brand model and see if his or her smartphone will also have the same issues connecting, if so then the issue is not on your smartphone but most probably is on your Routers wireless settings.Try resetting the Linksys Router back to factory defaults then try connecting and see if the issue will still be the same or if it will work from there.I hope this can clear things a bit.

Leave the user name blank and enter the password admin ( admin once only ). Try this.If that doesn't work then search for the Cisco connect software on your main computer. You might have installed the cisco connect software on your main computer while installing your router.If it is windows computer then cisco connect software might be under All Programs.If is a MAC computer then cisco connect might be under Applications.Open cisco connect software.Click on router settings. You will see the router name and password. If you click on Advanced settings, it will open the setup page.If nothing is working then you will need to reset the router and reconfigure it.Remember once you reset the router, you will need to reconfigure it from the scratch.Click to see more information about cisco connect software
Basic computer knowledge
I think you could go directly to Windows XP as it will be a bit more up to date. What you need to do is never lose patience, get yourself started with a book to learn the basics and practise a lot.
Never be scared if the computer stops working as you can always reload everything on it. That will be the best way to learn, by find it problems and then finding a solution to them.
My laptopcant find the router signal
if your laptop detect more wireless signals my be your router have issues if not may you need to try installing a new wireless card $10 on ebay
My lan speed going down.i am using cisco router 881, guide me to troubleshoot this speed issue
this could be MANY reasons....first, how many devices on your LAN ??? If there is a broadcast storm, that will slow things down on your LAN. Very few devices nowadays cause this. Also, from your pc, try pinging your router using an increased packet load. So start of with ping <router ip> -l 8000 and try going up to 20000. In theory, you should not be getting any loss. Responses times up to 12000 should be 4 - 8 ms. Higher response times point to errors on NICs. On the route console, try a show int VLAN <vlan number you've configured for your LAN> and enter. Under the CRC Errors and Interface resets, if you have anything more than 5, it could be a cable/NIC/MTU size problem.
Cisco 1760 router had not accept password i think
