Dell inspiron 1545 cd drive

USB is integrated into the chipset, which is under a secondary heatsink a couple inches away from the CPU heatsink. Why do you need to do this, since it is not user serviceable nor is there any need to physically access or locate it?

I have no video card

Well you solved the hardest part of the problem. You figured out the the motherboard has an AGP slot. From now on it's easy. You just have to buy an AGP graphics card. You can buy a FX5500 for a decent price. Also if you do some digging you can find better VGA cards for reasonable prices. Regarding the power source. You don't have to worry about that. It will support all you components.

The PCChips support page for your board is here, where you can download the full manual as well as drivers or other information you may need. This picture shows the front panel audio header location (AUDIO1):

And here is the pin information:

pgh_pa_guy_0.png

I believe the header complies with standard layout, so the plug on the cable to the front panel audio connectors on your new case may fit as-is. Or on many cases the wires have individual connectors on the ends to push over the pins. If yours is like this, you can put them on the correct pins by following the table. The wires are marked with their functions.

Good luck and thanks for using Fixya!

Bought a ultimate tuning and performance chip that

The (magic) chip connects to your IAT (intake air temperature) sensor, you can usually find it by your air filter. I do not recommend using this (as I've said) magic box because it is simply an expensive resistor that will make your car think it is running colder than it is, resulting in hotter running temps and wasted fuel.

No video output. bleeping every 7 seconds

Hello,
This beeping is usually caused by a bad Memory or Ram chip. The memory is the chip that is inserted in the purple slots in your display picture. Remove them if there is more than one and replace one by one. Make sure they are firmly reseated or it could damage the motherboard. Make sure both clips on either side are fastened properly.

Try booting computer again. If it continues beeping the memory module may be bad. Replace it with a new one.

Thanks and good luck!
