How do you attach carseat to stroller?

You unclip the material bits on the side and it clicks in with the baby facing you. You need to have the drinks holder bit attached to make it stable.

Is it safe to use a high chair that attaches to a table?

The high chairs that attach to tables are safe as long as you follow the instructions. Don't put a kid in it if they are too heavy and use the safety harness and don't ever leave your kid unsupervised. Also be careful that the items on the table near them are not hot or breakable.

Can you buy wooden high chairs? All the ones in my local baby shop were made from plastic.

Wooden high chairs are a more old fashioned design but they are making a bit of a comeback. Toys'r'us have a whole range of wooden high chairs. They seem to be more expensive than plastic but are quite long lasting. http://www.toysrus.com/family/index.jsp?categoryId=3242298

What age are high chairs for?

The manufacturers say from 6-24 months. Babies will be more comfortable in their high chairs when they can support their heads better. Smaller babies may need a booster to help them feel more supported.

I need to buy a high chair for my son but out kitchen is super modern in design and I don't want to stick a huge plastic eyesore in there. Any ideas?

If you have a good budget, then it shouldn't be too hard to find your son a more funky high chair design. The Modern Nursery site has a good selection that includes, chrome, exciting colors and shapes. http://www.modernnursery.com/items.cfm/ModernHighChairs/0/pcid/1/cid/114/
