Does the Chevrolet optra 2004 2.0L Dtec 16 valve engine have an inference or non-interference engine?
The 2004 Chevrolet Optra features an attractive 2.0L Dtech 16-valve engine. In an intervention engine, valves and pistons share the same space in the combustion chamber, and if the timing belt (or timing chain) breaks or slips, valves and pistons are at risk of blowing, which can severe engine damage so it is important to adhere to the recommended timing belt replacement intervals to prevent such issues.
1999 Chevy Lumina. In the morning time she won't move until she's warm. Why is that? Even on sunny days she will not move.
Question edited for clarity and make some real sentences and punctuation. Change 'want' (a request for something) to 'won't' (a contraction of 'will not). So many Americans get this wrong!
It is a Chevy, and it is 24 years old. When was it last serviced? Check spark plugs for gap and condition. Check compression. Also check transmission fluid level if by 'she won't move', you mean when you put the car into gear, it doesn't move. That could also indicate sticking transmission solenoids which free up as the engine oils and ATF get warm.
