heres how to remove wiring and ignition switch!!!

All go to the inlet manifold .The large fitting to the brake booster smaller fittings to accessories and vacuum advance diaphragm if fitted.

Not sure what year of Chev you are asking about but up to 1999 the knock sensor was in the water drain hole in the side of the engine block.

My bet is your crankshaft positioning sensor.

It's just a little plastic piece that sits beside the crankshaft pulley in the front of the engine... Go to Summit racing and you can see one on there site. about $50

Jack the trans and remove the crossmember and let the trans down to access the top bolts in the bell. Unscrew the nuts fittings from the trans to remove the lines.

motor mount..or transmission mount..especially on front wheel drive cars..rubber bushing wear's out

You haven't put the clutch down! Perhaps the clutch is binding even though you have. Does it go into gear easily? No clonks or undue difficulty? It's not an automatic is it? More info. please

did you mark which line came off which connection, go back over it, sounds like you've hooked the main fuel line up to the return line.

It's not by pressure it's by weight. There should be a white or Yello sticker under the hood that says how many pounds and ounces. Every car is different.

This model of Chevrolet uses a throttle body fuel injection. When you state that it does not take the gas, do you mean that the engine cranks over but will not start? If so, first take off the air filtering system and with a flashlight look down the throttle bore while someone cranks cranks over the engine. You should be able to see fuel spraying down the bore. If not, check fuel pressure. If that is ok check to see if the wires going to the throttle body injectors go on and off while cranking. You could have a fuel problem or an electrical problem.

if the opening mechanism is actively assisted with electric motors, then they may not be working, check your fuses

check thefuse firstly, if this is ok pull the wires off of the switch, above your brake pedal and bridge them, if they work replace /adjust your switch. If they don't work check the circuit starting with bulbs

It sounds like the fuel tank;s VENT line hose has become swapped with the SUPPLY line. Fumes from the top of the tank are supposed to be delivered to through the vent line to the evap canister, not liquid fuel. Likewise the line feeding the fuel pressure regulator and then on to the fuel injectors needs pressurized liquid fuel and not just tank fumes.
