Char-Broil Grilling - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support
Hello I have a Char-Broil grill model# 463268706.
You not only have to have the correct thread size, you also have to have the correct orifice size. The size of the orifice varies from grill to grill which is why "universal kits" don't work on all grills. You will have to contact the manufacturer and get the correct orifice size, or get the orifices from the manufacturer. If you need help, let me know.
Need to purchase replacement regulator/valve
If what you're looking for is the Regulator/Tank Hose Assembly, you can purchase that for any home center or hardware store that sells gas grills. They are pretty much a universal fii, but be sure to take your old one with you for comparison purposes of the hose length. A little longer is ok, but shorter is not.
If that's not what you're looking for, you can purchase replacement parts directly form Char-Broil.

Broken part 4503114 for Char-Broil BigEasy Grill
The replacement part is no longer available and I expect that it would be just as weak as the original. So, I straightened mine then added a piece of metal angle to the bottom runnning the full length of the piece. Works like a charm!
New Charbroil gas regulator leaks
The connector on the grill side that connects to tank may be bad. Call manufacturer and they should send you a new hose and regulator for free since it is a new grill. If grill does the same then replace tank.
I have a gas grill that has set for about two
I shut off the gas at the tank and grill. Removed the regulator from the tank and turned on the knobs on the grill for one minute. Then turned off the grill reconnected the gas line to the tank and opened the tank knob slowly.
My Charbroil grill igniter won't work. Have to
I';m sure everyone thinks they are giving good advice, but READ THE SYMPTOMS. The guy says his ignitor doesn't "click" anymore. And most of you tell him he needs a new gas regulator. Fix his problem, don't create new ones. He needs his ignitor fixed. Maybe just a new battery? Or maybe the whole ignitor unit But certainly not a new regulator, etc, etc.
I lost my reward card how do I replace it?
Hi.
It's the system trying to put your question to the right people.
Your first approach should be to the customer services desk of the organisation it belongs to.
Explain you've lost it, and give your details. You should get a new one through them.
If it is a store card, they actually know everything on it already - so don't settle for losing all your points etc.
They also know what type of shopper you are, whether single or with family - and most importantly if you make use of their offers.
Ever wondered why they swipe it BEFORE you buy anything?
This is because every item you buy is logged by their computer.
This store card information is traded for profit, and they can tell exactly what price they can sell their own brands for - to make you switch. - So it actually benefits them more than you in this big-brother world. Don't carry one for a bit and see how they push you to sign up.
Flame Shooting out the front
You clearly have a gas leak. Inspect the suspect area for loose connections like the gas delivery pipe to the burner assembly. Try to reconnect them. If there is a hole in it you can use some muffler repair adhesive but I would just get a new part. Often the company will send you free parts as a good gesture to assure encourage repeat business. Check out the links below. The second one offers free shipping.

My charbroil grill isn't running at full power
Your venturi could be clogged up. clean the burner holes with a straightened paperclip, then take the burners out and do the same to the venturi that deliver gas to the burners. If that doesn't do it, you may have a bad regulator.
I cannot get the gas grill to light. The tank was
the regulator could have gone into lock up.
try this to unlock it...

- Turn ALL main control knobs to the "OFF"/CLOSED position
- Turn the Propane tank valve to the "OFF"/CLOSED position
- Disconnect the Regulator hose from the Propane tank
- Turn ALL main control knobs to the "ON"/OPEN position
- Let stand for 1-2 minutes, allowing all excess gas in valves and manifold to dissipate
- Turn ALL control knob back to the "OFF"/CLOSED position
- Reconnect the regulator hose to the Propane tank- hand tighten only.
- Check all hose connections to ensure that a positive seal has been made

- Press the Multi Spark ignition button or match light selected burner.
- Hope this helps you has me in the past!
