Hello, The spark plug gap depends from the engine make/model, not from the spark plug type. Usually all engines will run with a gap between 0.7 and 1.00mm

there should be a fuel tap directly under the fuel tank. It should not be leaking fuel through unless there is a problem in the needle and seat ( staying open and not sealing off)

The manual that came with my juicer suggested putting a drop of cooking oil on the shaft to lubricate it before putting the cutter on. That works well for me.

If you want it to start with a start motor, driven from a battery, my guess is the battery is in bad condition. Normally a battery will perform less when temperature is going down, but an old or worn out battery can't perform at all when it is cold. I would check that first. Just take a good battery to start one of them and see what happens. Then see if you want to replace them.

Sounds like the govenor is messed up. Check the springs on the carb linkage, maybe one of the little springs has come off or broken.

This condition could be because it is stuck or the teeth have been damaged. Drive teeth on the Bendix come based on how many teeth are on the starter ring gear. An incorrect match can wear some teeth down.

The difference between the both of them can be identified by the shape of their teeth. The 122-tooth has squared-off valleys between the teeth and the 149-tooth has rounded valleys between the teeth.
