Make sure the paper has a shiny side and face that side to the front as it exits the printer. If no shiny side, you have the wrong paper. It must use Thermal paper (57mm wide)

try replacing the ribbon for the printer that prints the reciepts. they do need to be changed after some period of time. Check your owners manuel for instructions.

No need to program it. It is enabled by default. For a percentage discount, just type the percentage eg 10 then press %- button. For amount discount, type the dollar amount eg 2000 (no decimal) then press - button.

Turn key to program hold down receipt feed key and plug the register in. all FFFFFFFF's appear on display hit subtotal. Good to go. This will reset register without loosing your program.

In department programming, there is an option to turn on or off each tax. You need to turn off tax1 and turn on tax2 (if that is the one you have programmed for the rate you need). Just look up the tables for tax rate and department programming in the manual. Make sure you are using thermal paper which is 57mm wide. Open the printer cover. Lift the paper holder lever on top of the printer. Remove the old tube from the last roll if it is still in the bottom of the printer. Drop the new roll into the roll holder in the bottom of the printer. Make sure the paper is coming from the bottom of the roll rather than off the top as it unwinds. Pull the paper out the front of the printer and close the paper holder lever down onto the paper. The shiny side of the paper should be facing you as it comes out of the printer. If not, the paper will feed out blank during printing. If you are replacing the journal roll, slip the end of the paper into the slit in the takeup spool (black reel) and wind over a couple of times before dropping into place. Replace the printer cover and make sure the receipt comes out of the cut out in the cover. Good luck.

ERROR wrong operator, Error clerk/Error clerk in check tracking input correct check number or assign the proper clerk. That clerk was not assigned that range of checks

There is no ink roller , uses only Thermal Paper Rolls, works on heat

In this model, I think they are located under a small cover behind the receipt roll. Make sure you LEAVE THE POWER ON IN REG MODE when changing the batteries or you will lose all programming and sales memory. As long as the display is lit, it is safe to change the batteries.

you can reset the time and attendance with in Z mode reset the table and all should be ok
