My calculator will not let me add or subtract percentages.
I have a Casino MS-80S and yea, the percentage works different. As example to take 100 and subtract 10%, this is what I do: 100 X 10% - and then I get the answer 90 after I press the minus key. To add the percentage instead, 100 X 10% + will give me an answer of 110, after I press the plus key.

Put the roll in and feed the loose end up and actually all you need to do is put it between the two pieces of the hinge top. it is a thermal printer so it does not need to be fed like a regular calculator...it took me a few tries before I figured it out.

If by calculus problem you mean derivatives of functions, integrals, extrema and such things, I am sorry to inform you that neither the Casio FX-300MS, nor the FX-991MS can handle them. The newer Casio calculator FX-991ES is capable of performing numerical differentiations and integrations. There also graphing calculators by Casio FX-9750G, FX-9860G as well as by Texas Instruments (TI 83 PLUS/TI84PLUS) that are reasonably performant in that area.

Change the mode to Computational: Press MODE, select 1: COMP.
