Downloading pictures to my computer though a USB port
Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as
Picasa.
Deleted photos
There is a program you can download from cardrecovery.com that will allow you to get your pictures back.
My Casio battery door is broken how do I replace it
If you have enough skills and tools to open a camera, and build it together again, first order a new battery door and all spare parts, needed to put the camera together. While opening a camera, it could be you have to remove glued parts.
If you can't buy a new door from Casio (I think they don't sell it to you if you are not a Casio certified repair centre), please don't even try to open the camera. On ifixit they show hoe to open electronic gear, but they never show how to put it together.
You can look (at your own risk) how they open camera's.Perhaps even yours is on the site too:
