My cartier tank francaise watch stopped working

If your watch is automatic, then it is self winding and should start if you gently shake it from side to side a few minutes.

Automatic watches do thrive on being worn every day and if left unused will stop after a few days.

If it is a quartz watch, then take it back to the vendor and ask them to fix it.

Need a coil & circuit for a cartier 90

Cartier watches are NOT DIY projects. If you open that watch yourself or take it to a 'regular' non-Cartier repair shop, you may as well throw it in the trash because you'll have destroyed it's value AND Cartier will not touch it after it's been opened by anyone other than their shops. That would also void any warranty protection you may have. You can Google Cartier to find a shop nearest you, call them, they'll advise you further.

The quick release part of my cartier roadster strap keeps undoing itself

YOU MUST TAKE YOUR WATCH TO A CARTIER STORE !! Especially if it's till under warranty !! If you or any 'regular' watch repair shop opens that watch you will destroy it's value, and they CAN tell if a non-Cartoier tech has opened it. A regular watch opening tool will scar the back of a Cartier. Normally a tune-up is $60, but you say your watch is still warrantied, no reason not to take it to Cartier. You can Google Cartier stores to find one closest to you, get their number & call them and they'll advise you further. I urge you NOT to they & open that watch yourself ! You're only looking at a few dollars to insure & ship it, just make sure you wrap it very carefully, lots & lots of bubble wrap. A tip: wrap the watch in several layers of bubble wrap/tape snugly, then use a clean hand towel that you snugly wrap clear shipping tape over top of, it'll provide alot of safety for your valuable timepiece. You must insure it, don't skimp on that, you could end up regretting it bitterly. Hope this helps you~

I bought a watch from the charity shop today it is marked on the back with cartier paris 925 plaque or g20m swiss 17050343 can any one tell me about it

I keep saying the same thing on this board; call Cartier and describe the watch to them, you could also take digital photos of it & email them. They are always going to be your best resource for vintage or any other type Cartier watches. You can Google their number. Having said that, your watch seems like it may be a REPLICA ( meaning, fake, I'm sorry) 'Cartier' Argent, which may be worth around $250. It is not a real Cartier. There's no way even a charity shop would sell an authentic Cartier for anything under $1,000. I am sorry to disappoint you, and if you don't feel you can count on my say-so, you are welcome to call Cartier & verify what I've said.

Opening thecartier basculante, reverso

Do NOT open your watch yourself !! Cartier is NOT a DIY watch project and if you try to make it one, you will destroy the value of your watch ! It's about $60 US to take ( or ship insured) the watch to a Cartier shop for repairs. They will do a tune-up & address any issues the watch has for that $60, and they talk to you BEFORE they do any repairs. You can Google Cartier's website, click on U.S. and then find a store close to you; they have 800#'s you can call and speak to an authorized rep about your watch, they'll instruct you further. FYI---they can tell if a non-Cartier tech has opened the watch, so be aware of that before you attempt it, opening by anyone other than a Cartier tech will guarantee they won't touch your watch, which means you may never get it fixed or solved. Simple things like settings can usually be handled with a free phone call. They're very polite people & usually are quite helpful. CALL !

Need a glass for cartier

NO !! You cannot do it yourself !! You will destroy the value of the watch if you attempt a DIY repair. Google Cartier website, find a store near you, call them & discuss your watch; you can ship it insured to them, they'll call you BEFORE they do any work. If you or any non-authorized Cartier person opens the watch, you will destroy it's value, and they CAN tell if a non-Cartier person has opened it, will refuse to touch it.

Hello- My mother passed away

Michael DeVito---PLEASE STOP telling people to take their Cartier to a "watch repair shop" !! If they do that instead of taking it to a Cartier shop, they will destroy the value of the watch. Once it is opened by a non-Cartier shop, Cartier will NOT stand behind it, won't even touch it and they can tell if it's been opened by someone non-Cartier trained. A 'regular' watch opening tool will damage a Cartier. And then pop goes the weasel, the watch is now worthless. Yes, they will destroy a fake that comes in their shop, and that is their right to do so; it protects the value of all those folks who have REAL Cartiers and paid big money for them. I'm sure you mean to help, but please, please stop saying "take it to a watch repair shop; you are advising these people to ruin their very valuable watches ! Anyone who has a Cartier can 'Google' Cartier website, click on U.S., then find a store near you & call them to discuss your watch. They'll be happy to help. A tune-up for your Cartier costs roughly $65.00 in a Cartier boutique, you should do that if you've bought a used one. No, I don't work for Cartier, but I own one and despise that so much bad information is out here about these watches. A genuine Cartier is not just an investment but a responsibility. Hoping this helps someone.

I just received a Cartier tank Francaise Mens

mcdevito75 here, The easiest way to check the authentisity of your Cartier watch is by a jeweler, try to find a small watch repair jeweler over a fancy place which may charge you. You can also check Cartier watches on ebay, or simply type in Cartier watch on the search of your computers home page. The jeweler is best though, specially if your not that familiar with watches. the little I know tells me the Cartier name on the face should be Staright all the letters exactky the same (CARTIER) and all the hour and minute markers the exact same.
