very unlikely get the door apart find the broken part and have an engineering shop make a new one either that move into the 21st century and get a chest freezer that is more efficient to run of course you could always rivet a staple and hasp to the door to keep it closed

You need the owners manual for that specific machine to get the listing of its error codes.

Is this a digital or standard model . That helps me in figuring this out.

You have a bad sensor. There are two on it I believe.

Extend the defrost time so the water escapes before refreezing or add an extra heater to the drain
