We have a Canon iPF810 plotter and to enter SERVICE MODE the machine has to be switched OFF. While the machine is off, hold down the sheet or roll feed button and the information button. Keep these pressed and switch the machine on, keeping the buttons pressed until you see an S in the top right-hand corner of the display, then let go of the buttons. You should now be in SERVICE MODE.

The error refers to a purge motor failure. Which could explain why the printer is saying that you do not have enough ink. You can solve this error code by removing the purge unit. You can enter service mode on the IPF8100 by:

1. Turn off your printer
2. Hold down "information" and page source button (the button that selects between printing from Roll or from sheet
3. While holding down the two buttons from step 2 pres the power button
4.keep holding buttons (except power button) until "S" appears on top right corner
5 you are now in service mode

i have Canon IPF 750, the display show "execute printhead cleaning, if this message is still displayed, replace the printhead"somehow actually i just replace the head 5 months ago, and the print quality is still oke before this error issue occured. please help me.. Thank You

with the machine switched off hold down the sheet or roll feed button and the information button keep these pressed and switch the machine on, keeping the puttons pressed until you see an S in the top right hand corner of the display then let go of the buttons, you should now be in service mode. if you fit print heads in this mode the machine will not automaticlly adjust the new heads. you will have to select this in the normal menu.

You can reset it from the service mode it will take you 15 sec but you can use it only for service reasons.
If you reset it there is danger to fload with ink and messed up the whole area.
