Canon Pixma MX410. PAPER JAM PRINTER ERROR, always getting a paper jam error.
Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to Pixma MX410.
Unplug the machine. Remove paper trays. Open all the doors, slide the carrier and remove the cartridges' and print head. Use a flashlight and look for a small piece of torn paper. Clean the rubber feed roller with a soapy cloth. Replace the paper with new from an unopened pack as what you have may be damp. Put it all back together and try again.
I need to download some
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.
Reduce photo size
Try Picassa. All you need to do is to make some basic correction. very very minimum that you dont even know that there is a change. save the photo back into a different location. You will see a change in the pic size.
Alternatively, google for Digital Photo Resizer. I used a trial version for sometime and it helped.

Printer offline wont print cant get back online
Hello,
Check the status of the printer at Control Panel. Set it to online if it's shown as offline. If this doesn't fix the problem, check whether installing the vista driver available at your printer manufacturer's website helps.
Step 1:
a. Click Start, go to Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound.
b. Click Printer.
c. If the Printer is offline, it shows "Offline" status. If the Printer is online it shows "Ready".
d. If the Printer is offline, set it to online.
e. Right-click on the printer and select "Use Printer Online".
f. The display should change to ready when the printer is set to online.
Step 2:
If still you are facing issues, then update the printer driver. This should fix the problem.
For further precise instructions, please let me know the Operating Systems installed on the Computer.
Hope this helps..
Canon 60d built in flash will not pop up.
The external flash mount (hot shoe) has a small sliver of metal which when the external flash gun is slid on pushes it down to tell the body to not use the pop-up flash and some times the sliver doesn't return fully up to contact the underside of the hotshoe
