I have got the disk to unfinalize but I can't
Unless you recorded in VR mode, then you will not be able to delete single video clips.
The only option left for you is to "initialize" NOT "unfinalize" the disk, (warning: this will erase your ENTIRE disk). Once you initialize, you will have an empty disk to re-record on.
VR mode allows more editing and delete options but DVDs recorded in this mode are not compatible on all dvd players.
High static noise on my external mic
95% of the time, it's a poor ground connection. Some of the time though it can be caused by a defective op amp on the audio board. Last thing that I can think of is the version of the adobe and the other audio programs, if they are not the pro/ paid versions, they sometimes introduce all sorts of noise. If the noise sounds like an old dial up modem, this might be the problem.

The issue with the screen is not the same as the other issues. The fall has caused multiple problems and therefore it should be sent in. Fixing these is not easy because they have small parts and screws.
