I have a Cannon MG7160, how do I make it print on disks? When I open the inner door to print on disks it tells me to shut the door, making very hard to print labels on disks
To print onto a printable disc, place it on the disc tray supplied with the machine, then insert it into the machine.
This procedure also applies to printing from a computer.
NOTICE: Do not attach the disc tray until the message asking you to load the printable disc is displayed. Doing so can damage the machine.
- Detach the disc tray from the cassette (upper).
- Holding both sides of the paper output tray (A), gently open it.
- When the message asking you to load the printable disc is displayed, open the inner cover (B) and push it down all the way to the bottom.
- Place the printable disc with the printable surface facing up.
- Attach the disc tray to the machine.
- (1) Place the disc tray on the inner cover.
(2) Insert the disc tray straight until the arrow () on the inner cover is almost aligned with the arrow () on the disc tray.

Please follow the below procedure to enter Service Mode
1. In standby mode, press the "Settings/Registration" key.
2. Press the "Reset" key.
3. Press the "Back" key.
4. Press the "Settings / Registration" key.
5. The service mode screen is displayed.
Use the "Back" key to exit Service Mode
COPIER> FUNCTION> CLEAR> ERR; and then turn OFF and then ON the power.
Still have an error after following that steps, please call at 1800-204-4427. I can solve you out.
I have cannon advance 5550 with error code E000733-000 what is the meaning
The imageRUNNER can display random E733 error code with different subcodes such as 0001, 0002 and 0010. Simply upgrading System Software to version 31.06.02 for the 6000 Series and 31.06.03 for the 8000 Series can help resolve these codes.
Replacing Main Driver PCB (FM4-1083-000) has resolved the issue, but in some instances the Main Driver PCB and Relay PCB (FM4-1086-000) had to be replaced at the same time.

The printer error has occurred.
solution
1.Turn off the machine and unplug the power cord from the power supply.
2.Plug the machine back in and turn the power on.(if you disconnect the power plug, all the faxes stored in the machine's memory are deleted).

Cannot get printer to print
1. Unplug the printer completely. Move the ink cartridge cradle gently to
the left. Over to the right at it's usual resting place you will see a
small pad about 1cm square. This pad and the area around should be
covered with ink. Get a microfibre cloth and press down on this pad -
it's not fixed so should come away with the cloth, otherwise use
tweezers gently. Squeeze the pad several times between your thumb and
forefinger while inside the microfibre cloth to remove ink build up.
Then when not much ink comes out on the cloth, clean the area in the
printer around the pad so that looks free from ink too. Then position
the pad back in place, move the cradle back into position, plug in and
switch on - should work fine now. But it's worth checking for any paper
caught near the ink pad as my error occured after a paper jam. Good

Make sure to clean all the parts thoroughly.
