You may have to coax it back by unplugging or even trying a different connector on the computer. It may have disabled the port due to a current spike. Using the devoce manager in the windows control panel, see if the port has been disabled. If necessary delete the device and tell it to seearch for new hardware.

Kill all spyware and anti-virus programs and internet connections and wireless WHILE doing audio work. ALL these resource HOGS **** time from your processor and cause overuns of the buffers in your audio interface.

Do a control-alt-del to bring up the Windows task manager and look at what processes are running and sucking processing time. Even things that check for updates sit there and periodically grab processing power.

When burning CD's the same goes as well... during burns, the processor needs to be purged of these interrupting resource hogs.

In the last three weeks I have been continuously hit with updates from Adobe, MS, and Sun (Java) that interrupt and **** time, often at the most inappropriate times. These continous scanners for updates MAY be what are hitting you. Do any updates and then kill and disallow updates while doing your audio work.

You have to make sure that the clockspeed of the program that you use to play the files back with matches the clockspeed of the program that created them. I might be wrong about that. Here is a good resource:http://forum.recordingreview.com/f18/midi-troubleshooting-101-a-5208/ You will have to join to access but its free and the Killer Home Recording setting up is also free from the site and is full of good info.

Open the "sounds and devices properties" in the PC control panel and make sure the input and output show that the V studio IS the input and output... If not, select those. Often you will find that they have defaulted to the PC internal audio board.

Many if not all of the portable pianos use a pedal with a 1/4 inch jack. Different manufacturers will use electronic switching circuitry that requires polarity of the switch to be "open-normal" or "close-normal".
A pedal can be purchased on amazon that allows you to choose the polarity.

When distribution came back to B.C. Rich in 1974, a system of serial number coding began using a 5-digit code (XXYYY) with the first 2 digits indicating the year and the last 3 indicating the production number. That would make the first guitar of 1974 to have been numbered 74000, followed by 74001, 74002, 74003, etc. Throughout the '70s, production numbers were low enough that the serial numbers pretty much reflect the year of manufacture.

Those piano schools are considered as ideal, which provides lessons tailored to the individual needs of each student. They should teach all age groups from kids to elderly and all sorts of people from beginners to experienced musicians. And their teaching must cover classical as well as other genres like jazz.
